[3.10] LL Winter Orb Trickster (RETIRED)

I just beat uber Elder for first time with this build, didn't die once. Killed him in 2 mins, I even forgot to use my righteous fire and I still obliterated him.
So I recently hit 95 and completed one my larger SSF goals of killing uber elder. Was my first time doing the fight and there were 3 deaths but overall that seemed okay to me. Fast forward and I've gone in four times since then...not a single other victory or even getting that close. I was not sure what could have changed that made my dps and survivability feel so much lower.

I've made some changes since then, some better some worse, to try and make the character more well rounded or closer to some other Low Life Worb tricksters I have seen. Just kind of want input of a good direction to take for handling endgame content with more ease/consistency?

I know I still could use six-link Shavs, a much better weapon once I find a high ilvl shaped wand or scepter, lvl 21 gem, lab helm enchant, lab boot enchant for -res, better gloves/belt/amulet/rings. But beyond that I just want some help with my tree and overall gearing options.

Started out being pure cold and using Pandemonius but just tried switching over to cold to fire and it doesn't feel much better, at least on a 5l with my current gear and tree. Also had a Lightning Spire trap previously in gloves instead of Unleash-Ice Spear....the trap seemed WAY more useful and potent.

Apologies if the format of the post makes it hard to follow my train of thought or what I am asking.

Noob question here.
I used to play winter orb elementalist and it have many elemental penetration, from passive tree and gem.
But for this build it don't have much penetration. Is it going to reduce our damage very much? Or maybe there's something that replace penetration?

Most of the damage is chaos. Don't need penetration.

6L shavs and better weapons will be your biggest upgrades. The rest don't matter as much. You can follow my tree but beyond that idk what else to suggest as improvements. I found this current Cold to fire version to be the best in terms of dps. I didn't need the cwc ice spear or traps to kill bosses. I think those two upgrades will be sufficient.

Thanks. Currently only 1ex to my name on SSF so can't make a great multimodded wep yet but still just trying to farm a good base for it. Like 1.1k fusings into my shavs without luck.

Just went back to pure cold as that seemed to be working best/safest for me atm. Will go cold to fire again when I grab the weapon or 6l to make better use of double dipping.

The "on hit" glove enchants work when you are hit, not when hitting the enemy.

I just tested with Word of Blades, it definitely works with Worb. The spell triggers(5 sec cd) on hitting an enemy with anything, attack or spell. Unless there's a specific bug with the Commandment version or something else, it should work.

That's not correct. You're talking about 'when hit'.

Really good fun and good build. I want just point out that, for poor people like me, until you don't have Unnatural Instinct is better get the jewel slot near "Unnatural calm" (6% ED + 6% ED + Jewel slot, top left on the tree) then the jewel slot for the UI placement (3% AS + 3% AS + jewel slot) under the "Harrier" node.
I got bottled faith from cortex boss last night. Which flask should I replace? Atziri promise, dying sun, Cinderswallow urn or Diamond Flask?
