After years, im actually hyped anticipating a game release

Borderlands 2 was the magnum opus of looter shooters. People don't usually talk about the game's story but Borderlands has one of the best stories of ALL TIME. And what I love about it is that the gameplay and the story act cooperatively but also in separate universes.

You don't need to know the story in order to enjoy the game. You can also know the story on the surface level and play teh game to satisfaction. But there is also a much darke more serious under current throughout the entire series.

Krieg for example. In my opinion, clearly Krieg is the main character of the series. But as a fan of looter shooters, you don't have to ponder that whatsoever. You don't have to know anything about Krieg at all. In reference to this, the way they've balanced out story and game design is utterly sublime synergy.

I just wonder whether they bring the writers from the second game back or not. Becasue those guys are geniuses. They'd be STOOPID not to. And I wonder whether they really want to acknowlege Krieg as a or the main character or will they do something else. Authors of fan fiction want to know!

Well unlike you OP I will preorder that shit the minute it's possible. BL is the king of looter shooters, or shooters in general.
Yep. Buying in day one. They could charge $500 for this game and I'd pay it.

i probably would too - but thats just the state of gaming now-a-days. its tainted even borderlands for me.
so my senses tell me to wait on it just to make sure. not like you miss out on NOT playing it on day one anyway. but my heart is given up - i anticipate the game to be my favourite of all time.

i dunno maybe i just have some slight bad taste in my mouth with borderlands 2 though.
borderlands 1, the story was good for its time but the replayability of the story is terrible. its fucking laboursome. however the "end game" was good and kept interest.

borderlands 2 on the other hand - AMAZING story. game is so incredible, except its end game sucked balls in my opinion. the way you had to target farm made the game very boring for me.
i just didn't find as much replay in BL2 as BL1, so i hoping BL3 is not like a direct mirror to BL2 in the loot regard.

They patched the f out of BL2 endgame - did the patches fix things or were you not aware of the patches?

Anyway the DLC was teh endgame for me in BL2. and Tiny Tina's adventure was tres magnifique! I especially liked the part about blowing up the ocean! And diamond butt stallions that puke up loot.

depends what patches you're talking about.
i played tiny tina's - and ya that DLC was incredible. but i quit the game a little while after that era - so if the patches were before then, then no they didn't fix the issues i had with the game. if they were after, possibly, but i haven't played since then.

yeah there were some patches that came after that if I'm not mistaken. I never actually played them but they seemed to overhaul the way that loot was distributed plus a bunch of end game tweaks because apparently you weren't the only one who had issues with the endgame
I love the BL series (especially BL1), I wish, however, that all guns just didn't "drop as they are".

If they had POE/Diablo style crafting benches that allowed you to change 1 or 2 mods on an item that would be awesome.

I've gotten some awesome weapons in BL2 that I can't use because I hated the scope (for example).

If Borderlands 3 had an end game crafting option where you could make your own guns from gun parts that would be the true ARPG end game for me.

I would love grinding bosses for rare crafting parts to make "my" ultimate gun.

*crosses fingers*
I want a perk that lets my vault hunter turn into a gun while the gun I'm equipped with turns into a person

There are two types of POE players:
1) Those who want to walk uphill both ways barefoot on broken glass wearing a blindfold
2) F*cking noobs

I identify as transnational Chinese. May I have access to their QOL features, please?
