Life habits suggestion thread
Improving my sleeping time is the pillar of my health status i live with some sleep cycle issues since 15 years now, most of stuff i tried following doctors advices never changed much the situation, sport helped a bit back in days but that's it.
Here is the only habit that helped me a lot these past years. Running ! 4 to 5 times per weeks ( doing a two months break during winter ) at my own rythm for 20/30 min sometimes as fast as i can sometimes slow paced profiting of river / houses on the way. Various Benefits from it on sleeping stuff, help also to handle the day with sleep deprivation, good to be more motivated, for focus, this is a more multiplier clearly, the list is long. This is something everybody can start from 0 and progress / benefits can come really fast, at the begin if you never practiced sports or any physical stuff it might be hard and stressful you will eventualy want to give up, but trust me If you are motivated and can understand you are not going to run comfortably at your first session but in few weeks / months ( depend of many things ) but once you reach a certain step it become a real pleasure. Don't listen to internet bullshits, ALL YOU NEED is a pair of shoes, and that's it, you can improve everything of course with appropriate gears depending of weather etc ..., smartphone app are a bad idea in my opinion got few friends that are almost slaves of their running app i just find it's a source of stress and nothing else. Remember that it wasn't existing few years ago and it never stopped anybody from running, running is something as natural as walking is. Go at your own rythm this is important, don't force too much to avoid injuries in early sessions, specialy if you havn't done anything during months / years, your muscles need to adapt ( and they will fast ), your bones too, heart etc ... If you are unsure about your heart condition ( or any other conditions ) then ask a doctor first. That's it, can be 2x20 min per weeks or 5 times doesn't matter ( except there are more injuries risk if you run too often without beeing prepared for that. just listen your body simple as that ). " I didn't mix it, but i made nettels tea two days ago. Found a patch in a park i frequent to run in so gave it a go and plucked a whole plastic bag.(only took the tops of the plants so they can continue to grow) It smelled amazing in the bag, but the tea was kind of bland though :D Boiled the whole thing and ate it afterwards, it's like spinach. Was pretty good, but i gotta find out how to make it more flavorfull. I want that smell of the nettles in the bag in my cup while drinking '-.- Good suggestion sir, i had fun. elderberry flowers, nettle leaves, cammomile, comfrey, wild mint, dandelion, blackberry leaves, balm plant, briar fruits after its done blooming - red things minced and dried, wild carrot, st johns wort, lime/linden tree leaves and flowers and like 30 more that i can't name and dont know english words. Thing is, you have to dry them for 7-20 days, if you get fruits, like briar rose ones, you have to mince them and hold them on sun or in oven to dry/heat up. We have like 50 different bags end result is this

PS, big advice, what gives good flavour to all these nasty leaves and chlorophylle is adding more dried flowers of various plants, pollen inside gives the yellowish color to tea and kills the bitterness a bit, also you must find your ratios for everything, i suggest using briar fruits as base for tea, and then adding rest of things per wish. I stopped adding honey to tea long ago, but that is legit choice too, and healthy. Have like 10kg of honey (various sorts) at home which will probably last me a few years and best thing is that honey doesnt expire if properly stored. (btw, its honey straight from people owning bees, not the industrial one sold at shops, which is totally awful) I'm all about frugal stuff, so i had to learn how each foodstuffs behave with regards to expiry, which is useful and fun to know. Working out daily helps. 30-45 minutes of cardio and 1-1.5 hours of weights. For me at least.

Your total lipidemia may be high, but if MOST of that is earmarked for growing/remodeling muscle, tendon, bone etc. then it is likely NOT going to contribute to atherosclerosis, but rather to your growing biceps or boosting bone density. --A lot of skin problems improve with exercise. Calcium is not just for bones, it runs your heart and brain too. Even if you cannot exercise, going outside lets you catch some UV in amounts that are minimally harmful and can help improve your health. I fast every single day for 16 hours and it doesnt bother me in the slightest. I workout fine regardless if I've eaten or not. Sometimes
on my heavier lifting days I will have to take it a bit slower but no strength or endurance differences. I've done a few week fasts and those can be a bit harder but I've always felt amazing after doing it. A lot of people only drink water and thats when you can run into issues of it not being healthy. I still make sure to take a daily vitamin, fish oils, some b12 if required and I drink 5 - 10 grams of amino acids in the day. I've noticed if I'm sluggish on my really long fasts that drinking some carbonated water really helps. You can also add a lime and an enire lemon for a 16oz drink and its amazing. Alot of people are turned off hearing you dont eat but I say give a try for a bit. Lastly, I'm a huge advocate in squatting almost every single day. Squats are one of the best exercises you can do! |

gamify your life, it's more organisation interface than anything needing an SSD and a high end graphics card to get good FPS on.
