What's the pro/con in using Swift Afflictions/Efficacy?

It seems both do similar damage, but SwiftAff is a bit better for mobs since the damage ramps up faster. Efficacy is probably better for bosses, but has a high INT requirement.

What does that do?

Also gem colour. In a final configuration, it's a lot easier to get a 6L bow with only 3 off colours.

Allocates Corruption means they have used blight oils to add an enchantment that allocates the Corruption node on the tree without needed to path to it.

3600 HP / 880 ES (no Discipline activated because it leaves me at 2 mana...)

Kinda unhappy with the build tbh. What could I improve and where am I lacking in gear?
Feels like casting TR only once doesn't kill most rares when mapping so you have to stand there and cast it a couple of times. Is this intended? Doesn't make it very smooth.
Should you manually use Frenzy and Despair on mob packs or just on bosses?
Also when do you ever need Blink Arrow? Why is it in the build?

Feels like this build isn't doing enough DMG and also is too squishy to facetank most Metamorph encounters. On bosses it does average damage aswell even when you manually apply Frenzy/Despair and Wither totems.

I'm also using 2x Quicksilver + Phase Run and even with that mapping is way slower than the other meta builds out there (and more keys to press). What's the issue?

Definitely agree. But this build is only meant to take you to about T12 before it starts crapping out - it doesn't scale like ED does. I'm quite disappointed myself, but the main reason it feels so bad is because of the ascendency.

I'm going to switch to a Tremor Rod and see if the saboteur is salvageable.

There's a lot of room for improvement here. No particular order:
- Flasks. You shouldn't need health flasks, or dual quicksilvers by now. Swap in some damage flasks, and some better defenses. This is what I was running last league:

- You are using a base 1.4 attack speed bow. This build scales really well with AS, swapping to a grove / thicket / short is worthwhile.
- Gem levels. Pick up a corrupt level 20 TR, they are under 2c at the moment. Use that until you can get a level 21.
- Jewels - all yours are 2 affix jewels. Start picking up 3 / 4 affix jewels.
- As mentioned in the OP, half your budget should be in your bow, that's the source of most of our damage. Your bow has 2 useful affixes. At least craft something that affects our damage, physical damage is literally no use.
- Pick up some oils and annoint your amulet.
- Neither of your rings has reduced mana cost yet... you're going to need that on both.
- Clarity. Sell that one, buy a level 1, don't level it. That's the only way we can afford all the mana reservation and still have enough left over to cast TR.
- Enlighten level 1 does nothing. Drop that in your off-hand weapons to level. Put something else in there in the meanwhile.
- Are you casting your totems? You should have 3 totems up on all hard targets.

I would add that apparently there are new damage over time mods for quivers, you can aim for that.

If you don't like self casting despair, you can use witchfire brew. I think there are curse on hit rings with despair nowadays as well? You could also link your frenzy with curse on hit and apply both at the same time.

If you feel too squishy I would ditch Queen of the Forest for now and get some more defensive oriented chest.

Blink arrow is good to get across chasms / ledges. Otherwise I'd consider using withering step just for the speed up. Haven't used phase run myself, so not sure how they compare.

Anyway I dunno how "meta builds" are 1-tapping rares or face tanking metamorphs, I've seen a lot of complains about various bow builds (ice shot, lightning arrow, explosive arrow etc.) that they lack bossing / single target damage since everything got massive buffs to hp. Well I guess necros are still doing fine? And saboteurs but their builds are even more spammy than toxic rain.

Well this patch was meant to up the difficulty of red maps and also massively buffed boss hp pools (some 4-5 times more), and metamorphs are often bosses on steroids, a lot of people came in for a nasty surprise when they can't speed clear all content for 50c anymore.

Like literally a lot of popular builds are getting complains about "zero damage" or "can't kill metamorphs". Melee builds are getting punched in the gut. The only people still doing semi ok are minion builds and miners, rest requires much more investment to reach the same results as we were used to.

Agreed this league could be different - I'm not that far through the atlas yet. (Amazon dropped a new season of The Expanse at the same time as the new league... my time management skills are improving.)

I haven't run into problems yet... Here's hoping! :)

3.9 is a 'new game' with tons of changes, can't compare with 3.8 itens and bosses/maps difficulty!

But just see the stream, goku have some op gear we know, but we see that we can improve alot to get to the new endgame!

I'm enjoying alot the build and the plan is to go all league with it!
lv 91 - 23k dot - 4klife/2.4k es now and my gear is crap ! (did few t12, atlas is a mess now)
