I saw alot of people use "Increased Chaos Damage" and then just multimod. So does that help the DOT aswell?
Yes, it works for all chaos damage (dots, poisons etc.). It's not as strong as multiplier, but that can only roll on elder base glove / amulet.
Thanks! Just crafted a bit tonight, not sure which ones to multimod...
Played toxic rain the first league it came out, really enjoyed it. Thought I'd give it another go. Appreciate the guide. I made a little bit of modification just for fun, running EB/MoM with devouring diadem so I can also run flesh and stone for more defense. Only level 80, and have plenty of upgrades to go but working great so far.

Here's my approx intended build with some jewels filled in

Is the dmg a lot better with carcass jack over QotF ?

The damage is much more with carcass jack over qotf. Top TR dps characters on poeninja use it instead qotf, and I also use cj sometimes for carrying or running "increased hp" maps

Toxic rain scales extremely well with increased aoe, and Carcass Jack gives a lot of it. QotF is only good for extra movement speed imo.
Anyone playing this build in ssf? I'm in act 7 right now. Wondering what I should do with my auras if I don't have a vertex and don't have enlighten. Just Flesh and Stone and Discipline?

Malevolence is a must. Rest is mostly defensives so pick whichever you feel you get most defensive value from. Flesh and Stone got nerfed and I'd probably skip that one, building enough evasion and dodge should be sufficient.

There's no "mandatory unique" for this build, you can run it in full yellows and self-craft the bow. You might have to reserve less mana and invest in mana regen if you don't have access to -mana crafts. Dying Sun is cool to have if you're up for farming Shaper for it. And you'd need a standard anti-bleed flask. But other than that, it should be full SSF compatible.

Thanks. So Malevolence and Discipline then. I'll try and farm a Vertex but that's gonna be a steep hill to climb. I do have an enlighten thankfully. Just need to level it and hope for a +1 corrupt.

The biggest boon of Vertex is that you can get that +1 to gems affect enlighten, so you can do some fancy aura setups, for example if you wanted to squeeze Haste or Grace in. Until then, any high ES or ES + eva hybrid helmet could do, you could also fossil craft the -9 chaos res aura helmet if you find the fossils for it.
