In your POB all the setup the elemental resistance isn't max. Does this build not need to cap elemental resistance?

Hello, I am running a mines version of TR trickster and was looking for some advice: short version is that I was hitting red maps and around T14, getting one-shotted a lot... I am not skilled enough to avoid it enough to progress so I tossed on a small cluster with enduring composure and added CWDT with immortal to synergize with it.
Question is: is there a better way to get some good mitigation? I'm open to using Watcher's but it doesn't seem like much of an aura capable build so I don't know that it would help, dodge is high and shrouds are nice but once they wear out on heavy hits I just die too quick, I have freedom of movement because it just seems too juicy to ignore but that might be silly. I'd be into changing clusters too if there was a good combo I am missing. It seems like it definitely made a world of difference on survival but I expect it will drop my DPS too much when I get to T16s etc....
Also, with the need to only have one 6-L, is there something worthwhile putting in the chest? I was considering Agony Crawler or building some sort of AG setup?
Here is a link to my build: https://pastebin.com/b781D4pi I'd love any feedback, I know I need a better bow, so that will be my next purchase and then looking at speccing out of mines and trying CA but right now I feel like I am just doing a hail mary trying to survive the Maven arenas.

Can you fit Discipline in there? I think it would help, even if you have to forego Skitterbots to fit it in. Also, Flesh & Stone if possible.
Enlighten + Flesh & Stone + Discipline + Malev should fit into your helm
Otherwise, more life can't hurt.

Awesome! Thanks for the input, I'll try ditching the bots

Can't seem to progress past Tier 12 ~ or level 91.
This build doesn't feel especially durable to me, fast in maps sure, but otherwise? I don't know. Maybe I have something setup wrong. I'm running Flesh and Blood with Discipline, following mostly everything in the guide.
I'm constantly moving around, keeping flasks up. I run Caustic Arrow in my body armor 5linked and it clears most maps perfectly fine, then I have my TR in a 6L Silverbough for bosses, and I mean at this point I could just remove my bow altogether and feel about as effective as I am now. Caustic arrow does 90% of the work. I can't kill high end bosses with TR anyways, so why do I even have a 6L TR?
I've already invested a few Exalts into this, and I'm really hesitant to invest anymore because it's just not performing. My gear isn't great, but I've never performed this poorly with this level of gear.
Most of my defenses seem to be built around killing enemies, but you're not really killing enemies during most boss fights. So again, not sure why this is sold as a durable boss killing build.
That's my two cents anyway. I was tired of playing fast clearing but weak builds so I looked for something that was specifically durable-- this isn't durable. This feels no different to me than several other mapper builds I've played. If I start to take damage I die. Period. It relies on me not being hit by kiting. That's not durable. That's not defense.
I'll totally acknowledge it's almost impossible to die while clearing maps because of the regen when killing enemies, but again-- that doesn't carry over into boss fights. I think I'm partially frustrated here just because it feels like it's impossible to find build guides that honestly and accurately portray their builds. Yeah just because your build *can* do something after you invest 100 exalts into it doesn't mean you should advertise it as such.
I've reached the content I'm doing right now with a fraction of my current gears budget, and it cleared maps just as fast...

Its not a weak build, this and Hasunic's build are virtually identical with minor differences and they are both pretty meta.
All the people posting troubles with staying alive are playing with really, really low defences.
Use a thread of hope to pick up phase acrobatics as the OP lays out in the endgame PoB, dont halve your energy shield by pathing to it manually.
Invest in a strong chest with an open prefix for gain 10% of max life as extra ES.
4k life and 3.5k ES is pretty obtainable without insane investment and you can get higher then that. If you get 7-8k ehp, combined with the evasion, blind, spell dodge, and ghost shrouds you should be fine, will you still occasionally get blown up, sure, but its not a squishy build.

Hey there.... I am following a lot of the guide but with a mine set-up for TR, so as far as DPS, I don't know how much different it is. But, I was getting wiped a ton too on even early reds, so I grabbed a 2-point 15% armor small cluster and rolled it to get "enduring composure" passive, which was pretty easy after a few tries, it burns a point or two to grab the passive but then you get endurance charges when hit, which I combined with CWDT/immortal call, which scales resists and duration off of Endurance charges.... I only have immortal at like lvl 2 or 3 because I don't have much str and I left CWDT low as well, but you pop endurance charges really quick with composure and sustain them during fights, which at 3 is 12% phys reduction even without call proccing and call proccing buys you a lot of time to pop flasks or whatever. Anyhow, personally, I noticed a very big difference and was able to get into some T14s now. Still sort of squishy but night and day for tank.

Not sure if your character profile has changed since you posted this, but your current trickster does not have a working cast when damage taken setup. An evasion flask with %increased evasion instead of a second health flask will also help
This is one of the tankiest builds I've played in my ~8 years on POE. Ghost shroud + high evasion + sandstance blind + CWDT steelskin has me wading through red maps with one hand while drinking coffee.
Damage/mapping was the main problem for me once I got to T14+ until I got an end-game bow.

You need totem+ whiter set up for bosses, also a ring with despair on hit boosted my dps a bit.
I have 5k life and 1k es and my main concern is damage now. I just killed a4 sirus but I don't feel like i will manage to go higher easily. I'm playing SSF and really feel that there is a lack of damage, wondering if TR is really doing more damage than caustic arrow myself.
With despair on hit T16 bosses are more easy, also beware of maven watching your fights she boost the bosses a lot.

Trying this one for this league, decently strong mapper. Can be pretty squishy though, but a fun build to play. Feels nice.
