Will I need all my respec points?

I just realised I missed lethal assault, and just levelled up and spent it on the 10 INT node next to it, kicking myself.

The sensible thing would probably be to just leave it and grab it next, right? I shouldn't use a respec point on this?

I'm not sure if we use the points to gain points back for things at end game or not.

can confirm the beastcrafting method is fucked up this league had cannot roll attack mods and did the beastcraft and it gave my bow mana leech :( rip exalt
guys the best way to craft +2 bow gems and + 1 gem level is using delve crafting: 1 Metallic Fossil + Jagged Fossil + Corroded Fossil will take you like 4 tries, i get mine in my first trie
Question: How are y'all using Blink Arrow? Without actively thinking about it, I just don't tend to use it much, since I already have withering step & dash... it doesn't share a cooldown with those, but I still just don't use it often, so it feels like a bit of a waste, especially since culling strike is attached to it. Thoughts/tips?

Also, do we prefer blood stance or sand stance for flesh & stone?

Been unable to find information on this anywhere, but what is the function of withering step in this build?

Is it used offensively?
Is it used for movement speed?

I guess it potentially would be better movement speed than using dash repeatedly because we have No Witnesses and related passives?
I'm not far enough into the tree to really experiment with that yet...

Currently I think it's quite awkward, but I'll keep it for now, and see how I feel about it later.

How do you play with it?

It's useful for extra movespeed, for phasing through packs of enemies (especially helpful when escaping a heist!), and to apply the Withered debuff on bosses (even if you have the totem setup, withering step applies several stacks at once). The elusive buff is a nice boost to dodge chance as well.

So I use it basically whenever I use a quicksilver for the movespeed + phasing and when I need to move through enemies, and also against bosses as the last skill of my combo- (TR to start mirage archer, raise totems if you didn't do so beforehand, cast Despair, then withering step, run near enough to the boss to tag it, then focus on dodging while your DoTs do their thing/you need to recast part of the combo. (You leave withering step for last so you get more uptime on its buffs, since it wears off as soon as you use another skill.)

Probably only for cluster jewels, if you use them; you can go straight for the end tree otherwise. But it's not like one orb of regret is that big a deal anyway?

yeah true. I've not used my respecs anyway yet, I keep forgetting to grab that node though :D

I've left myself a note for when I next level.

I'm really struggling with damage to kill 4 socket elder slayers, I have about 1ex to spend how could I get enough damage to kill sirus awakening 8? I'm able to kill corrupted T16 bosses just take a little while

there are probably people that can offer you some advice regarding the actual build, but I can offer some advice regarding DoT gameplay.

having more mobility and ways to shrug off damage might be key, with DoT's you need to let them tick and kill the target. It's not the fastest means of DPS, but it's used to get into the head of the opponent, if you can apply even one DoT to them, they start to panic and make mistakes, this helps get the killing blow.

OFC this does not really fully transfer to single player gameplay, but you apply a DoT to someone in PvP, and watch them panic, and begin to attack erratically to try and kill you before the poison kill them. Again I'm not sure how well this advice will even transfer to this game, but damage over time is always my preferred style of fighting. I learned a lot doing poison builds in Dark Souls.

Do you have any idea what is actually lacking for you, and can I see your passive tree please?

Honestly you might just want to take something extra like a ballista to help with DPS, this is what I do when I need more single target.

PS: surely theres some gear you can get that will help you though mate, I hope someone chimes in for you soon.

Well, you're still using leveling gear (goldrim, wanderlust, arguably karui ward). Upgrading from that should help a decent bit. Can also work on getting a better bow.

You're also missing a lot of sockets; filling those out and working towards 4 in each of your helm, gloves, and boots, should help as well.

And craft a useful mod on each piece of rare gear that doesn't have a crafted mod yet (body, ruby ring, quiver).

You can check out the whole gear section of the guide for more details? It doesn't look like you've paid much attention to it.
