How many of you guys are running CA for map clear? The speed of it feels better but the higher tier map mobs are starting to die pretty slow for me. TR doesn’t feel super great for speed clear since I only have a 1.5 APS bow.

CA + arrow nova is pretty fun but doesn't work too well with this mtx haha https://gfycat.com/vengefulsprygarpike
First of all I want to say thanks for the indepth guide. I'm currently trying to craft my own bow;

Is it recommended to push thru with the multimod or do I need to scour my bow and start again? and is Damage over time much better than +1 arrow for the build?

I'm looking for the Malevolence has % reduced mana reservation suffix on my necklace. Any suggestions on how I can get that craft? Can I lock in my prefixes using bench and keep rolling until i get the suffix?

The reduced Maloevence mana reservation is Hunter suffix. It has the mana and aura tags, so it can't be targeted by harvest crafts. There are a couple of ways you can shoot for it.

First, you could lock prefixes (e.g. fill up all prefixes with crafts and or permanent affixes) than slam Hunter exalt. Unfortunately, you have a pretty low chance of hitting Malovence. The affix has a weight of 500, out of a total of 6500 for all Hunter suffixes (according to poedb). Since you already have chaos dot damage, that reduces the total weight by 1000 (to 5500). You could further reduce this by dropping your chaos resist, then spamming remove/add fire/cold/lightning until you hit another DOT multi (which you will remove once finished). That would reduce your total weight by another 1000, to 4500. That means that you only have a 1 in 9 chance of hitting it with a slam. You would most likely end up hitting another (fire, cold, lightning) DOT multi instead (which isn't horrible, since you can target remove it with harvest). But you also have a 1 in 4.5 chance of hitting "reduced attribute requirements", which is one of the worst suffixes you can roll, and can't be target removed by harvest. It would effectively brick your amulet to only 2 suffixes.

Instead, the best way to get either of the desirable hunter suffixes (Malo mana reduction, or % chance to gain power/frenzy/endurance charge) is to spam alts/augmentations on a magic amulet until you get both +1 dex and one of the two affixes. But that will take a lot of alteration orbs. I estimate around 2k - 3k. Then once you have those two affixes, you can best imprint, and then craft everything else you need.

I posted a full amulet crafting guide on page [261] for more information.

I spent about 2-3k augs to get +1 dex with a harvest removable mod lol It will cost way more than that getting +1 dex and malevolence or power frenzy endurance. Thanks for the explanation though
Sorry lads I am completely terrible at using the forums. Does anyone know the best way to craft a bow like this with harvest crafting? I assume you'd want to start with a base with either DoT or socketed gems, but then there's no way to harvest craft the other, so I am a bit clueless.

This is the explanation from the build page 1, Bow crafting:

+3 DoT Multi Bow
Cost: Variable. 10 exalts+ (minimum)
This bow is much simpler to craft than the +3 VP bow we used to make, however its probably more tedious or difficult. Try to use an ilv 82 bow for tier 1 DOT multi. You'll need to isolate two suffxies, ideally local attack speed and DOT Multi (specifically suffix, not prefix CDOT), and then block attack modifiers, exalt slam for +1, then multimod +2 supports and 40% CDOT multi. There's no amazing way to get this. You can try alt - regal spamming, chaos spamming, suffix locking, annul-yolos; either way, you need to try and get the two suffixes isolated.

You start with the dot suffix, because that cannot be target crafted. Bow needs to be high enough level to roll it with alts.

When you have a bow with nothing but dot multi suffix, you craft "cannot roll attack modifiers" and augment a suffix with harvest, for example lightning resistance. You want all suffix full.

Then you exalt slam or use leo rank 3 in research. That adds +1 to socketed gems.

Then you remove harvest suffix in the same way you added it, if you added lightning, you remove lightning.

Then you multimod for +2 support gems & chaos dot multi prefix.

Then you augment speed (more expensive) or attack (cheaper but lower chance to hit it) trying to get attack speed. If you don't, keep rolling harvest mod "remove speed & add speed" or "remove attack & add attack" until you get attack speed.

That definitely seems cheaper :)
Hey guys.

Playing with this build since day 1 and beat all the game. Very good build, tank and high DPS.

I did some changes in the tree and expended some currency in the Gear and want to share with you guys. Things like Aspect of the Spider and 13m DPS without Mirage archer.

Have a lot of room for upgrades but I'm done with Harvest League.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why are you using both CA and TR? Isn't TR enough?

Caustic Arrow is for clear, TR is enough, but if your CA is clearing the mob packs is best because you just neet to shot and all pack die, TR you shot and the pack only dies after the pods explodes, sometimes you need to go back to grab some drop.

But if your CA is not doing instantly kill on the mob packs, TR is better.
