Spent all 3ex I had getting to here. Has adding +2 to level of socketed support gems worked here, or should I stick to the attack speed (local), unique/rare enemy attack speed, and Chaos DoT Multiplier?
You cannot craft +2 to support when it has +2 to bow, the game won't let you, it'll say "the item already has a mod of this type", so yeah, all you can do is craft chaos multiplier and one of the attack speed mods. Keep in mind multimod says now "can have up to 3 crafted modifiers" but in reality, it's 2. Multimod itself takes a slot, so it's "can have multimod and 2 others".

Ah Gotcha. Thanks for the quick reply :)
Ok, so this is where I stand right now.
Still have to get lvl 21/23% quality Toxic Rain, T1 damage craft on belt and a better enchant on gloves ("of spite" would probably suit me best). I like Maloney's Mechanism too much so I won't be changing that.

I'm using 5 auras: Discipline, Malevolence, Grace, Aspect of Spider and lvl 1 Clarity. With all of them active I'm left with 7 mana unreserved which is fine since Toxic Rain costs zero mana. Wither totem, however, has a high mana cost which doesn't get reduced by -mana mods on my gear so I had to link it with blood magic.

The damage is absolutely insane. ~180k DoT DPS in Path of Building (for those interested: https://pastebin.com/QYwFZhDP )

Survivability is probably more impressive than damage. Did Simulacrum 3 times, 2 of which were deathless and in 1 I died once to Kosis since he had insane map mods to back him up. Other two times I was able to facetank him. Sirus 6 also fell without deaths and too much issues.

I was also able to do a 100% delirious T15 elder guardian map successfully: https://imgur.com/a/A5Thg46

This is the second time I'm doing this build and I will probably come back again. It's just too damn good for every situation you throw at it. I wanted to write this "review" once I reached lvl 100, but I figured not much would change so here it is.
I am back with some more questions about my build. Ill link my gear first then number the questions I have.

I have 2 ex + burning a hole in my pocket but I don't know what to spend it on. I kinda feel like I'm at a point where my mana is a little low so I either need to hit much harder, or reduce the mana cost so I can spam more?

1. Mana is an issue on boss fights, I don't die it just takes longer than usual to kill them. Not really sure what to do about this other than to start reducing the mana cost of toxic rain.
2. Should I buy a -10 to non channeling skills Watchers Eye?
3. What stance should I be using Flesh and Stone in?
4. Do I need to get one of those crafted Thicket bows?
5. With lvl 3 enlighten and vertex can I get rid of Charisma tallent? My mana seems really low right now
6. Where do I find these -x to non channeling skills ring and amulet enchants?
7. Should I get a different cluster jewel / thread of hope jewel?

Thank you again for all of your help so far!

Hopefully someone else can help you out with your other questions but for the mana thing, -x to non-channeling skills on your rings will go a long way. See the video below for how to do that.

1. Yes, you need the -mana mod on rings / neck, either buy rings with temple mods, or buy elreon's veiled jewellery and unlock it yourself, or get a crafting service from reputable source.

2. Only if you have problem after putting the mod on rings / neck.

3. Always stone. The other part is useless to us (only good for melee).

4. At some point when you have enough currency you want to transition from your +2 bow to a +3 bow.

7. I don't think this specific guide used thread of hope? Cluster jewel I wouldn't bother with a large one unless it's 8 points and has at least a socket, preferably 2. Otherwise you get much better value from a medium instead.
Looking for some guidance on where to focus next on gear upgrades. I'm getting one shot a little more than I'd like, and the dps feels okay, but not great running T16 maps on Awakening level 5. I've got a few ex on hand, so right now I'm wondering whether to keep upgrading this build or try something new.

Does the change to the cluster jewel adding damage over time mean we go for it or is it still not worth bricking the tree?

From what I gather the chaos wheel is still better because there are more useful passives.

The bow wheel has only 1 good point - tempered arrowheads, and 1 okay point - broadside, the 3rd point is nearly always weak / pointless. Unfortunately when you get a 1-passive or 2-passive jewel it pushes tempered arrowhead to the back of the wheel.

So perfect chaos jewel has 2 sockets 3 passives 2 points spent on travel.
Bow jewel would have 2 sockets 2 passives 3 points spent on travel. Slightly less efficient but no longer trash.

As always, I'd advise to POB compare your character with tempered arrowheads vs something like Unwaveringly Evil or Unholy Grace - so you can see if you are actually upgrading or downgrading. Current POB doesn't really recognize tempered arrowheads properly, at least the default pob not fork, so you'd have to manually count how much 10% multi is worth for your setup.

Well that's up to you, you feel like trying different build, go for it, but your gear is far from optimized so I'm not surprised to hear you'd struggle in top tier maps.

Next step would be to transition to proper end game bow but that's gonna cost more than a couple of ex, more like around 10, so if you'd rather invest into completely new build, probably better do it now than after you sink all your currency into upgrades.

There's a lot of other upgrades from getting more life, to better rings, to changing that life flask (reflexes on a life flask is so bad, at least heat would make sense to break freeze), to changing that weird caustic arrow setup in your chest (is that actually killing stuff on t16 maps?), to adding quality on your vertex, but most importantly you need a bow with +2 to support gems (since you have empower and awakened gems) and some other useful mods, like attack speed or dot multi suffix.

Also judging from your talent tree you aren't following the guide's POB it's more your take at the build?

P.S. I hope you're not specced into wasting affliction on your cluster jewel because that point does nothing for this spec. Exposure therapy is okay but I'm pretty sure you could buy a jewel with 2 passives that are both useful.
Hey guys approximately how many alts have you used to isolate t1 DoT and t1 Attack speed on end game bow?

I have my doubts because I'm currently closing in on 3000 alts and I've started to feel that i might do something wrong. Never crafted in this game so i'm kinda noob, maybe someone could verify that i'm trying to isolate them correctly?

I basically spam alts until i see suffix: Of Liquification (t1 DoT) and then i regal it and expect to see attack speed, scour and repeat.
Am i doing it correctly, maybe there is better way?

Thanks!
Not sure if there's a better way, if the bow is correct level it can already roll the dot suffix that's the only limiting factor.

It's just RNG, if you have let's say 1% chance for each mod then you have 1 in 10000 chance to roll both of them together.

You could check https://www.craftofexile.com/ I heard it's a good tool for crafting simulations to see what are your odds.
