(3.14) Toxic Rain + Caustic Arrow | 5-10m Sirus DPS | Fast + Durable | 50c Budget/SSF Uber Elder
I reached lvl 91 and i have a lot of pieces to say my resists (except chaos) to be maxed but with discipline at lvl 20(working on making it 21)on vertex i get really low shield i try to understand what the issue is but i have only 2k shield when apparently it should be 4k-ish can someone give me a lead on what i should look at, because i am not maxed on evasion rating yet and i just get destroyed by bosses. Sometimes and T14-16 sometimes feel clunky when i get enfeeble debuff.

"Characters are private, hard to say. But I think the target is around 4k life 2k ES = 6k hp combined. You won't get crazy amount of ES with acro. Enfeeble does nothing much, it just lowers your damage a bit but nowhere near as much as extra chaos res on mobs, so I'm wondering if you had a different debuff in mind. Anyway you can use warding flask, same for temp chains. For bosses, you will have to avoid their biggest abilities, this isn't a build that can eat any damage and recover from it in split second. |

" Thanks for the answer i am on the point then.As for enfeeble debuff i meant that i am not killing things fast enough so and that with the fact i dont have enough evasion i just die if i do a single mistake. Also like on sirus fight i legit feel i cannot do almost anything on his last phase maybe i am not used to the build.Anyway i was hoping i could get a bit more tanky because getting one shot by phys damage on drox for example is a bit meh. |

does the gem "Decay Support" so much extra dmg if linked with toxic rain or is PoB wrong? |

"It's wrong. Long story: toxic rain gets its most value from stacking multiple casts / pods on top of each other, so damage "per pod" that PoB shows is only a fraction of your total damage, you have to add all active instances of the ability to know real dps (formula on the bottom of the guide). Decay does not stack. This means that even when you place multiple copies of toxic rain in a spot, only 1 decay will be active. So it has negative synergy with the skill. Any other support will buff every cast of it meanwhile decay will only buff the first one. To be perfectly honest, decay support is a failure. The builds it could have synergy with, it doesn't work with (for example bane). People tried to fit it into death's oath builds but they had to link it to herald of thunder or some other ability that applies a "hit" not just damage over time. It's badly designed. Hope GGG reworks it one day to stop being trash. |

One more question, what do you think about running Aspect of Spider for this build. I assume the damage boost it provides works for TR? I will be running Malevolence + Discipline + Grace and later Aspect too once I get a few more gear pieces. |

"No probs. A reminder that you can buy a lvl 20 toxic rain for very cheap (1c or so) and just level the current one in spare socket / weapon swap. Also skirmish quiver doesn't do much, a life + resist stat stick would be a better placeholder, or hyrri's bite if you're missing stats like str / int for gem requirements. "Unlocking elreon's mod would allow you much better flexibility on the rings, it feels like you're limited by what has the temple -mana mods, the rings have a lot of random mods on them atm. Also I have the impression you have really low life rolls on several items. Your CWDT does not match the linked skill, it needs to be 1 lvl higher. Also if I see correctly, you have 4 rare jewels but no corrupted blood immunity and no anti-bleed watcher's eye, so in that case I'd look into some corrupted blood immunity. Most of your damage stuff is in place. That feeding frenzy I imagine is just for levelling / corrupting purposes? Btw you can buy lvl 21 malevolence if it's cheap (can't price check website got fubar'd), in vertex it goes to lvl 22 which gives another 1% more dot damage. "It's not a bad idea if you can fit it with mana reservation as it's not affected by enlighten etc. Maybe swap grace for flesh & stone in that case. Trying to see what I should be aiming for to increase either my chances of surviving big hits and or doing more damage to kill the enemy before getting hit. So far this has been the easiest steamroll of a build and I love it but i find in t16s beyond bosses and things like that I can get 1 shot.
I did the simulacrum and crushed everything but couldnt do enough damage on the wave 18 boss to kill him before he eventually 1 shot me. I swapped to my miner to destroy him then swapped back to finish. Its odd I did the calculations and it says I have almost 3 mil shaper dps but these Delirium bosses health barely move. Is that just the nature of the build or can I fix something? IGN PoopyPotter
