That's the most optimal one. The only reason to craft the + 2 support gem mod is to support your empower gem that you should be using . keep hypothermia. Drop elemental focus for empower level 3 at least. Don't trust the tooltip. Hypothermia requires enemies to be chilled to give you the bonus dmg...just tick the chilled option for enemies in poB I wouldn't have proceeded with multi modding the staff though. the double dmg mod is CRUCIAL. It is a ton of damage. If you had wanted to proceed you should have 1st tried to annul the 10% cold dmg which provides next to nothing for damage. This is the first item I ever crafted, so was getting quite nervous when I was hitting the end of my orb stacks. Noticed empower 4 was 6 exalts, but empower 3 is afforable. Will go for that. Actually according to your PoB Added Cold is better than Empower 3. You need empower 4 to best Added Cold.
