Since neither my argument held any sway nor did you look very hard I shall direct you to look at the bottom of the webpage.

Thanks but that's the ToU... pretty standard for any website.. And, while some articles cover services provided by GGG, it does not provide any indication of Terms of Service or Code of Conduct for actually in-game operations... It is a pretty standard Terms of Use for their website and forums..

The Terms of Use covers the use of the Path of Exile software and services [Terms of Use: Lines 1-6]. The limited license granted to you by GGG allows you to download & use the software and gives you access to their services in accordance with the Terms of Use [License: Lines 1-5]. Using any forms of automated software in relation to your use of the software or services is prohibited [License: Lines 5-6].

Do you even read legal speak? ;)

Well, shit. :-P

I speak SQL, Basic, C#, IIS, CLI, java, but, no, not really legal... being an engineer, I only ctrl+f'd for macro, automation, modify, script... I didn't read it. that clears it up. Thank you for the source.

That ToU is found on just about every webpage.. Figured it was just the one any hosting company sends to a customer to slap on their site to protect against liabilities.

Lawyers tend to actually read legal notices and be able to make sense of them at the same time :)
99% of suggested changes would make the game easier. Thats why only 1% of suggested ideas are even worth considering.

Haha, I found that out while still in entry level, working helpdesk/network admin for a law firm... took them forever to install anything... they'd get hung up on that "I accept" button.

I knew I was just being dumb and overlooking it.. That's why I didn't like the "contact support" option. I appreciate you taking the time for this.

Why is that support@grindinggear.com never responds to emails? Please do better.
