Wow ty for the big answer sir.

I dont have a insane chest like u. Only 6 link with a 124 hp and 11 percent increased life.
Also i dont have an empower 4.

So i use atm. Golem/Multistrike/maim/minion dmg/ruthless/pys dmg

Still thinking about switching maim with fortify . Fortify make golems even Tankier.

But unsure. Cant see a lot of difference between both.

But ty for the great guide. Its insane fun

It's not my guide, i just answering the stuff that i know :)
I wouldn't recomend switching maim, actually. Maim is more damage, and golems isn't really dying at that point anyway, even without empower. Their life regeneration outregening almost everything.
Playing this build right now and <3-ing it so far.

One question though: I thought character-based stats never affect minions. But I see that "Shaper of Desolation" for example affects all golems, at least on the tooltip they get 100% ignite, chill and shocking in sequence. Also they get the 5% from the minor Ascendancy talents (status ailment chance).

So do golems get special treatment? Do they receive % elemental damage nodes, for example? Or just ailment-based talents?

I am a little confused, please enlighten me. If they do in fact profit from Shaper of Desolation and especially Beacon of Ruin that'd be awesome DPS boost.

my guess is that the OP is using storm brand and flame dash to proc these elemental status ailments from which the golems gain damage.

It looks like the conflux lasts 14 seconds (rotating and combining) regardless of damage (unlike usual status ailment infliction) with this ascendency passsive.

No you have 4 out. Ice golem, chaos golem, lightning golem, and stone golem. so you stack them not only for the increased dmg but also that jewel gives you % life regen. It makes them tanky while giving them lots of extra dmg. Its 80% increased golem dmg PER JEWEL if you have all max dmg increased on jewels. 80 x 7 = 560% increased dmg, or 640% with 8.

But brand and Dash do so little damage that shock duration will be like zero on bosses and ignite will almost do no damage at all.

Also, as I wrote the golems themselves (in the skill tab) show signs of being affected by Shaper of Desolation. Visually it definitely looks as if they get the buffs, for example during Icy Conflux their victims shatter and during Flame Conflux all enemies burn (hard to see because they die so fast lol).

Maybe OP can clarify this. I think the two nodes (Shaper of Desolation and the one after) are useless if they only affect character. But golems is a different story altogether.

It looks like the duration is set by the passive and not the amount of damage. Which makes it easy to proc with any aoe

I wonder if it is a toolbar error for them to have it. They should only benefit when the passive explicitly says “minions”

what is more important on harmony jewels?

golem recovery speed or golems skills cooldown recovery? cyclone is a skill or?

so its more important.. the other roll only is there for how fast i can resummon golems or?
