Hey,

So there are a few things you gotta look out for. For Vaal Righteous Fire you need to make sure its leveled and you only activate Vaal Righteous Fire and not regular Righteous Fire. If it is leveled and linked with Cast when damage taken > immortal call > increased duration it will gain the benefit of increased duration but it doesnt trigger regular righteous fire when you take damage. It is a bit confusing if it your first time using that link but it is very powerful.

I originally did Command of the pit for gloves but I scrapped it because I thought the investment was way to high and that was including the abyss jewels. Without Shadows and dust or the shaper glove alternate you lose a lot of quality of life options including fossil craftin a socket onto the shaper gloves which can get mega expensive but it is worth if you have the money to invest. Overall Command of the Pit is a good option but will more than likely become a more expensive option for the build. I love abyss jewels, they give so much damage but it can get a bit daunting for newer players.

Thanks for enjoying the build! I plan on playing it soon because I built Vaal Storm Call and I am getting the same feelings as my Storm Brand build but without the familiarity. I am eager to see how it does in comparison.

Build seems interesting, I've tried using the pastebin link with https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/3.6.3/

But it's telling me that the build was for an older version of the tree.

Do you have an up to date version, or am I doing something wrong?

Hey!

I am glad you checked out the guide! The pastebin I have posted is for Path of Building as that is the only skill tree planner that I have used. I highly recommend using it if you havnt tried it yet. The build is extremely fun to play and it can do all content! I am gathering gear for it and the potential weapon changes I want to try out! Ill be doing an update for this build specifically.

How would you go about leveling this build as a fresh start? It seems that ranger doesnt have access to Storm Brand till Act 3 Siosa -

Would you go blade vortex or another skill till then?

Level a witch/scion/templar to 12, then get Storm Brand and place it in your stash. Or go here http://poe.trade/ and purchase one.
