[3.5] CheeQu's CoC Ice Nova Assassin - Up to 7m Shaper DPS + Amazing Clearspeed [In-Depth Guide]

Im kinda new to this cospri as mechanic etc.I read the guide but still didnt get it what my attack speed should be where to check the exact number for it ?
Btw equipping headhunter will make a problem in this as calculating thing ? ( getting as mods from mobs etc )

Yeah well that wasnt my question and thats my problem but i wanna know if it would be a better result to run frost bolt + frost nova or just frost nova alone in my armor setup?

edit; sorry if this came out harsh but i just wanna know if its more viable dps wise?

Some basic napkin math here...

Frostbolt + Ice Nova alternates casts, but since the FB+IN combo causes Ice Nova to be cast twice, you should get about the same number of Ice Nova hits from FB+IN as just Ice Nova alone, while also adding damage from Frostbolt to the mix.

Will that out-DPS another support gem? Probably, but I wouldn't expect there to be a huge difference (unless you're above the 3/3.7 APS breakpoint and skipping Ice Nova casts when socketed alone, then FB+IN would do much more damage).

anyone catch the new Mathil's coc :D
It is awesome to see Mathil's ways and how we can improve our build, I do feel our build provides more damage and is more consistence/ easier to find gears :D
Maybe we can take not on Mark of the shaper and 1 elder ring.
Hey guys, does this look right?

http://prntscr.com/m4deg7

My APS was well above 4 before. Made some changes.

I have 20% cooldown on belt.

Thanks!

Hi.
Can someone help me for me it feels like i'm doing too little damage
I know im just lvl 85 but the last notes just more HP.

1. Make sure your cold res is highest for the wise oak flask cold pen.

2. Make sure you are using vortex, arcane surge and flasks. Your damage should be up there.

So I finally took the plunge and converted my build from acro/phase acro back to the more eHP build of scion life wheel + Discipline + Watchers Eye, and did so while potentially increasing my damage output (main 6-link set-up went up, but Cospri's set-up went down).

This is what it currently looks like: https://pastebin.com/H9E0Z3SR

For now, my main concerns are:

- Don't think I got enough eHP out of the swap over to mitigate losing acro/phase acro. Definitely feel a lot squishier at the moment.
- Lack of permanent curse in the way of blasphemy or curse on hit is a little frustrating. Currently only have a CWDT + curse set-up.
- I am now flat broke and have enough spare items to make two more of these characters.

On the positive side, if my calculations are correct (which they probably aren't), I may have just cracked 10 million DPS with Vaal RF up. And my base Cyclone critical strike chance without flasks is much nicer now. Feels more comfortable to map with diamond flask down. Oh and my AoE is now much better for mapping.

Enfeeble is pretty important.

Guide update tomorrow so stay tuned, survivability will improve.

I'm thinking about doing this build, how far into maps will I get on a 5l 80% loreweave or tabula, without pandemonium, and everything else?

If you have cospri+lyco+loreweave you could even do uber elder if you know what you are doing and have some good life on rares.

Hey guys, if I cant afford a cospris yet would it be better for me to just socket frost bolt first in my armor on my one coc setup?

If will help in clearing mostly where you will proc both because you crit many times (many enemies). For single target it will just alternate between the two so you wont see much benefit.

You could try frostbolt gmp spell totem on your weap for single target untill you get a cospri.

Edit: This may not work, Frostbolt made by totems maybe dont interract with your ice novas. Ill have to test that.

Hi there, first of all thanks for the nice guide!

Couple questions/suggestions:

I don't have the funds for a Pandemonius yet, but I do have a Yoke of Suffering from my miner. Did anyone do damage calculations for that? Everything Shock related is too complex for me in PoB since the Shock changes.

Glove craft: I had an open prefix and went for 34% inc damage while leeching. Would +1 weapon range be better?

Your lvl97 trees: I would've liked a version for a lower level, around 90 maybe for that's a point when a char should be finished imo, with recommendations on how to spend extra points beyond that. Also, you have one redundant point for "10% inc aoe" just below Amplify in the Templar area. You can get to those Notables through Discipline and Training. That would reduce your trees to lvl 96 trees.
