About Wave of Conviction
"
Skill behavior: Wave of Conviction produces an advancing arc-shaped line of damage, which may only damage an enemy once on pass-through. It will stop on terrain only in places where the terrain makes contact; it is possible (and common) for a rock or pillar to split a wave in two and shield anything behind it.
Effective range: The travel distance after which the Wave terminates is dictated by two factors: area of effect modifiers, and duration modifiers. Mathematically, the result is multiplicative between the two stats; when applied independently of each other, area of effect will appear to increase the Wave's travel speed while duration directly affects range while not changing Wave speed.
Conversion: Because the math of conversion is applied after base damage rolling, an unmodified Wave will deal equal amounts of Fire and Lightning damage, applying Exposure of both elements.
Wave count limit: Casting Wave of Conviction while there is another Wave active will cause the first Wave to disappear shortly after. In effect, this translates to an inversely proportional relationship between cast speed and area of effect when holding down the skill key (faster casts = considerably shorter travel distance).

Thanks - read it on wiki, but also felt a bit confused with what my tooltip shown

is ancestral call worth in boss fights? or swap with multistrike?

if you feel like you have better damage or more comfort with multistrike on place of ancestral call for bossing, why not ) everyone choose himself
as for me i'm even using inc area of effect instead of conc effect for yellow-red elder(to overlap all portals and save shaper) and mapping/delving for more clearspeed

any suggestions on the next upgrade of my build?
ill try to reroll the helmet when i have more currency btw.
edit: btw im swapping out ancestral call for energy leech support vs single target.
idk if blood rage works with energy leech support but when i put on the energy leech gem tooltip shows 112k instead of 90k ms dps. i am NOT leeching while standing still so these 22k dps come from the mod "more dmg while on full es". when i turn on blood rage the tooltip dps doesnt go down, but increases to 122k. so the blood rage degen doesnt affect the "more dmg on full es" mod.
well maybe its just a visual bug that the tooltip dps doesnt decrease when turning on blood rage, but single target dps seems huge when i dont get hit and stay on full life.

You might want to see if lightning pen or leech gives most damage then
I love the utility from ancestral call and wouldn't be without it

Thank you Hasunic! Made the change from Life HoWA to ES yesterday and while I was a bit worried about the gear (I grabbed the cheapest stuff I could find), the difference was drastic. I waited until lvl 86 and wish I would have tried it earlier. I went from going through T6ish content with an occasional death to carrying 3 of us through T15 content with no real issues. I'm now trying to figure out a way to not get bored going through the map completions. Great guide! I did Enki's Arc Witch last season (first season) and was happy. Even happier I found this guide for this season! Exactly what I was looking for.

according to pob energy leech support has more dmg than lightning pen, even without being on full es
