0.10.2 Patch Notes
Maybe it's just me, but I really don't see the point in nerfing lower levels of Poison Arrow and Fire Trap.
Nerfing has such a negative mentality in general, but even in this specific case I just don't see the point even though I understand why. Okay, like 90% of top chars in short races were using these skills, lets nerf them. Woo-frickin-hoo. Now after this patch 90% of top chars will be using Freezing Pulse instead, then what? Nerf FP with the next patch too? Then everyone will start using some other ranged AOE skill instead. Can you see the pattern here and the problem with this approach? All this achieves is just slowing down the leveling of new chars outside of the races. Also it's good that they started making an effort to buff melee, but it's gonna take much more than +1% damage per level on a few skills. Although when the best idea to buff melee ironically enough is to give it more range (Might nodes), it just seems like a quiet admitting that the whole combat system is a failure. |

" and " I'm curious to see how this will work out for my two rangers. Both use the "Mana Flows" cluster but are on completely different paths through the skilltree, otherwise. Exit, pursued by a Plummeting Ursa.

" This seems to be the gaming MO. Very quick to nerf till all char are the same. So what if PA was powerful early. It only made a diff in races. With the current mindset things are nerfed to death resulting in exactly what Chris has said they dont want. All characters being the same. With more races and pvp coming online I suppose the pve game will be dictated by the needs of PVP balancing. Oh well. Regardless of my thoughts on this subject they have really done a fare amount of work on this patch. Thanks to GGG for that. Last edited by BarneyRubble#1447 on Mar 7, 2013, 10:04:27 AM

nice patch ..
But i would have liked to see some bugs fixed with regard to computers over heating with the game. regardless of cosmetic items. A lot of people cant play the game as it is. ( i cant for one ) http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/68140/page/5/#p1994194 Thought i would like too,i would like to become a supporter also but i am unable to as i cant play the game. so i would ask the devs to try and fix a lot of the problems identified in the support forums now and again enabling a lot more players to support the game as much as they can.. The gods made heavy metal, and they saw that it was good. They said to play it louder than hell, we promised that we would. Last edited by wmdgnome#5651 on Mar 7, 2013, 11:14:48 AM

" The important sentence here is: "Characters who had passives that have been affected by pathing changes have received refunds to their passive skills." It doesn't say "effected skills" or "only the changed skills". It says "Passive skills". In your case, they are removing a passive you took, which means your pathing is changed. The branch that headed for Berzerking is now different since the end of it no longer exists. The only solution is to give you a full refund. How irresponsible would it be to just give you five points and say "Have a nice day". We'd end up with hundreds of broken characters within ten minutes. This is an argument of logic, folks. If they change a point's location or existence, and you have that point, you must receive a full refund. You can't just leave a character hanging one point away from the changed point, it breaks the character. This is what happened in closed beta, it's the historical stance on the subject, and nothing has been said to the contrary. Stop propagating the idea that this might be a partial refund. |

Is the new Berserking spot far away from the old one or the big health block upper right next to it? im still kinda worried. atleast Armor Master and Berserking are affected and im not even a Duelist.

" couldnt agree more i'm a lvl 80 ranger, every single skill point is planned for thar"perfect build" that works for me,loosing 15% AS and 8% MS and getting back 2 skills points would pretty much destroy my build |

Looking forward to reactivate my dw duelist. :)
