Grace

Currently i am playing a level 70 duelist. blood magic, burning arrow with GMP, chian, and life on hit. frenzy with life leach. my gear is all decent, the only things that stick out are that im using chin sol (helps to keep enemies away from me) and the blood dance sharkskin boots, for frenzy. only evasion, NO iron reflexes.

i always used grace before the release, now i find that i actually live longer without it.I just think the base 60% cost is too much when using BM, even if you do get the 30% reduced reserved mana node behind it. i also have reduced mana on grace, but still didnt really help that much.

without grace i have 42% EV and the passive node that doubles the chance to evade projectiles. and with grace i have 50% EV. this is also when frenzy is not doing anything, because my frenzy charges increase my EV as well. point is with out grace i live longer because i can take those 5 more hits. the way i see it is if you have a 50% chance of evading a hit, your still going to get hit 1 out of 2 times. with grace on i can survive about 5 good hits on maps, so when there is a mob of 10 or more enemies around me im still going to get hit those 5 times and die.

either way i think it should cost less, or give more evasion. even an increase to the reduced reserved mana node behind blood magic would work.
sadly, until then im just not going to use it.

That's more an issue with Blood Magic than with Grace, isn't it.
in a way, yes it is an issue with BM, so maybe i should post this elsewhere as well. but as i vaguely said it could also be an issue with the reduced reserved mana node behind BM,it would be more worth it if it gave maybe 40% instead of 30% for example. still if grace didnt cost so much mana reserved, or gave some more evasion, it would once again be more worth it, rather than what feels for me to be a gamble based on area.
Grace is still a good aura, it's just not for everyone, and you need to pay the appropriate price for power combos like Grace + Determination + Inner Force + Iron Reflexes.
Is Grace aura still a thing in 2.1 given how frequent act4 mobs one shot player in high tier maps.

If you're frequently being one-shot, you need to work on your mitigation.
Grace is still a thing.
What for it has "spell" tag? Why no "Cast"?

The skill isn't that bad as Discipline but still its synergy with Iron Reflexes is 'unhealthy' design.

Guardian w/o armour or evasion on gear can easily get 25k+ armour with the aura.
Any Aegis Aurora build gain at least twice more ES on block because of the aura.
How is that match 'Grace' concept?

I have semi-melee character:
w/o Grace: up to 22k evasion
w/ Grace: up to 35k evasion
Gameplay is the same in both cases. Using the aura feels unrewarding on evasion-based character.

I'd suggest to change the aura to:
(10-15)% more chance to Evade Melee Attacks
(15-20)% more chance to Evade Projectile Attacks

Problem: impostor syndrome
Solution: nerf everything
Result: depressing mess

I actually like the idea to turn it into something similar to determination, only for evasion.
Though I see the risk of an interaction with blind/other multipliers.
If you normally have a 30% chance to evade, if I understood mechanics correctly, you'll be at 65% chance when the enemy is blinded, and then you multiply that by ~1.2 from an ascendancy.
Another multiplier could be dangerous here.

Please leave Grace as it stands, it is a fantastic aura.
The only thing i want is an MTX for it! It has been years, please make an MTX for Grace.
