Try for the mana leech or mana regen lab enchantment on your boots (Cruel will do but of course Merciless is better), otherwise you could drop your WO down to 4 links (as I do currently, haven't had time to get my boot enchant yet). That or get some random mana regen or leech or reduced mana cost somewhere.

Actually I've seen no difference between Cruel and Merc enchantments. I ran Merc last league and Cruel this league with no discernible difference in mana sustain. I've used the boots above since Level 80 (now 96) with no problems whatsoever.

Cruel is much easier to acquire, give it a try.

Nice build, but accidentally trying to 5L one staff made 6L how should be the gem order? for Single target or Clearing ?

Ah, nevermind. Perusing poeaffix.net shows that only 1 prefix and 3 suffix mods are going to be useful, and these are exactly the ones you have (+ES,int, 2 resists.)

So just alt spam should be good enough.

Got my final ascendancy (had 5/6 lab trials in white maps and thought I'd just do it SSF, got to T10 without getting my final one and said "fuck that" and went to global 820, done now), level 90. Working on my chest craft (12% inc Int etc) since I managed to save up a few exalts, thought I'd see which method is cheapest based on current rates. Turns out imprints (Craicic Chimeral) and annuls are stupid expensive.


Alt-regal-annul method:
3*(66 + 1 + 48) = 345 chaos


Alt-imprint+regal+annul method:
66 + 3*(128 + 1 + 48) = 597 chaos

Note: 66c =~ 1000 alts (15 alts to 1 chaos) which is the figure Kelyvnn has been using in prior calculations in this thread so I thought I'd keep it consistent.

Try checking the market for Vaal Regalias with at least 9% Int, decent ES rolls and either an open or scourable suffix. That's how I picked up my current armour...had to pay 3 EX but it popped up in a live search so I grabbed it quickly. Prior to this I was delving and used quite a few dense fossils but never landed a good one with the %Inc Int mod.

Some people have luck with alt spamming but I've yet to succeed.

Cheapest right now is 7 ex. I feel I'm going to run out of a) patience and/or b) time to craft this chest this league. I still need Int% rings so maybe I'll get those first.

EDIT: There are cheaper ones, I removed the min 400 ES requirement from search. My bad. I may have a chance after all, thanks =)

Plan B is to find a good chest with 51+ int and an open suffix. That gets you 2/3 of the way to an +18% chest.

Final update of my gear in this league, after changing my chest for a better one , re multi-modding my gloves with tier 1 Intelligence and after spending a truck of divines on gloves, helmet and one of my rings i FINALLY broke the 2700 Intelligence barrier:

I am kinda broke now but at least i am a happy Whispering Ice player!

2700 Intelligence? I'm almost at 2400 and was feeling very accomplished, now I feel like I'm back in kindergarten...

This explains why when I peeked at your gear earlier I noticed that your gloves were mysteriously absent and you had a fancy new chest piece! 18,500 ES...you can probably do Uber Elder blindfolded now....amazing.

Kelyvnn, I think Lilian has officially entered into 'Uber Gucci' territory. :-0

Uber Elder was a kinda casual fight starting with 15k ES and around 2300-2400 Intelligence. i did like 40 of them this league, some good returns but nothing exceptional.

I just wanted to see how deep this build can push when it comes to Intelligence value, and this league thanks to synthesized crafting here it goes -2700 Intelligence.

Last league i had 2.609 Intelligence and 19.2K ES but this char feels and is more powerful than the previous league one.
