How did the Quill Rain nerf build affect? After all, now reduces all damage by 40%.

it doesnt change direct elemental hit damage, but it will lower burning damage now
this quill rain change will nerf caustic arrow and toxic rain damage hard

Are you sure about this? Why wouldn’t it affect the ele hit dmg?

because wiki says weapon damage already lowers any direct hit of skill
also with new totem support gem we can use drillneck i think, 4 totems is enough

First thing... Wiki is not up to date... I am pretty sure with change to quill rain it will also affect this build. Hm maybe you are right and four totems are enough :)

May I ask why we are picking up minion nodes when Totems doesn't gain anything from it? sorry im new to this.

How would you level this build without access to the jewels? Choose another skill or use Elemental Equilibrium?
Thinking about doing this as a starter but i'm not sure because of the accessability early on.

I would use another skill until you get the jewels... I guess I would go with Rain of Arrows. And before that with split arrow arrow or so... I guess the first 12 levels will not matter too much.
