" Ok I'll give that a try. >> Looking over your character, is there a reason Zombies aren't in your claw for the +1? Uh, pure laziness? Actually I keep meaning to buy/craft a better weapon and fix that up but then I play it and it crushes everything and I forget that I need to fix it. This character is just so effective at its core, it makes it easy to forget to the fine-tuning. Or maybe more like coarse-tuning in my case :) >> Since you're using NA like I currently am, you might want to take a look at my glove links again. I've been using Phase Run for more speed. You can bind it to Left Mouse to automatically trigger it when moving. Only issue is in town, but you can still click on objects to move normally and type /hideout. I'm also debating between Faster Attacks for WB or L4 Enhance for 12% additional movement speed on Phase Run. I picked up your links from maybe a week back and I think I have smoke mine in there which I literally do not know how to use. But phase run sounds brilliant and I will def use that. 1.2ex for L4 enhance. Hmm. Do you think WB is even useful since you have phase run? |

" " Phys reduction stacks, like ele resists, and the more you have the better it is. 50% doubles your eHP vs. phys, while 75% quadruples it. Minion movement speed is great for clear, as your minions will reach the location they want to be in faster. If you're focusing on farming maps, movement speed may be best. If you want to be tankier, though, go for phys reduction. @ PsiBlades2002:

" " " Nice! =oD At first, I was going to recommend 10% of Life as Extra ES for your body armour, as it'd give 1k+ ES, more total ES for us than any other prefix, but your ES is close enough to your life that there's no reason to do so. Your ES-healing Focus should work better for you, anyway. =o) @ Callipygian:

" " " I have Smoke Mine bound to E and Detonate Mines bound to R. So I just push E then R in rapid succession to teleport myself across gaps or gain 29% bonus movespeed on-demand. Good for immediately blinding Minotaur, Izario, etc. You can also throw one before opening a Strongbox, or before you backtrack to pick up an item to immediately return to where you were. It has a lot of flexibility. " 8% Phase Run quality = 4% movespeed, so L2 or L3 Enhance will also give an extra boost. It just comes down to how often you want to use Whirling Blades, since without Faster Attacks you need to wait a little longer before using it again so you don't get stuck in an animation. " Phase Run excels when I have Quicksilver up and minions are earning me Frenzy Charges so Phase Run is constantly on. When everything is dead and Quicksilver is tapped out? Whirling Blades. I know I can always count on WB when I need it because it has no cooldown, making WB better for dodging. I can also continue to use it when casting Skeletons. In narrow or cluttered terrain, WB can get stuck and not feel too great, so I use Phase Run and when it's on cooldown I throw Smoke Mine for its bonus movement speed. Basically each has ideal situations, so by having both I can enjoy the best of both worlds. It's like having a Sprint and a Combat Roll, along with a Jump from Smoke Mine. Tried out Kitava's heralds with the conversion build and they work great! Best part is that, since they naturally do aoe damage, I can get rid of the pierce support I was using for frost sentinels to bring back summon phantasms (~1.25 mil in dps). Like @Gorkk said though, they require feeding frenzy or else they won't aggro well enough for clear. Also, they seem to be a little slower than Frost Sentinels so quality might be necessary on the gem.
In terms of other spectres, has anyone tried using the physical variant of the Vaal Risen Advocates? They seem to have a fairly similar projectile to Frost Sentinels / Solar Guards, albeit with a slightly longer windup. |

Awesome build, thanks. I actually picked up the idea from someone here to do CwC on the Cyclone for Desecrate and Spirit Offering and it works like a charm. Would recommend. I've been able to tank through even tough degens like ignite and bleeds just by using this. Very rarely need to use life flasks.
I'm wondering where the need for Necromantic Aegis comes from. I did Uber Elder yesterday deathless with like level 17 skill gems, and none of my minions died (except maybe some skeletons). These minions are practically immortal. |

I am running the Cyclone + Summon Raging Skeletons variant of the build and loving it so far -- no problems through Tier 10 maps as of tonight. Bit of fire damage on the gloves triggers EE for me, though I don't especially need it on anything that I don't close distance with thus far (spectres / phantasms / SRS just kill before I can cyclone them).
I'm not particularly interested in changing to Ball Lightning even if it's the more efficient build, as the person I usually play with is running lightning traps this season, and I'd lower his damage significantly with it instead of SRS. That said, any advice on what to upgrade next? I'm down to 50 chaos, so expensive things (the eventual +3 helm) will have to wait. Claw was most expensive item thus far. |

I've switched to Slave Drivers and they just melt everything.
They have tripple base damage than Frost Sentinels and with Spell Echo and frenzy\power charges from shield they have just huge dps. I even dropped Spiders for Convoking Wand. Thou dunno what to use to trigger EE. Brands are tricky to use... " gloves to Grip of the Council and belt to Stygian Vise with a good Ghastly Eye Jewel. Can someone tell me if PoB calculates DPS for all the minions, i.e. for 4 spectres or for 9 zombies, or it's calculated for each separately? Last edited by Singrave#2968 on Oct 1, 2019, 5:12:11 AM

If I'm moving to a CwC + Cyclone + Desecrate + Spirit Offering setup in my boots, what should my gloves gem setup be while using Grips of the Council?

" PoB calculates DPS for single minion I believe. |

" Carrion Golem with supports. Thou i don't think Carrion Golem worth even 1 blue socket :) |

" I have not felt any use of minion speed in this build (zombies are fast enough, spectres as well, and skeletons just zoom through with Feeding Frenzy), so I'd definitely go for +1 minimum endurance charge for more survivability, or something else all together (like a -3 total mana to channeling skills if using cyclone so you can completely forget about a mana flask for no regen maps). " Necromantic Aegis in the Triad Grip's variant is not for minion survivability but for better charge generation (and getting them as well), as Heranic felt that without CWC ball lightning charge generation was not reliable enough. " You can put one point in Avatar of Fire and keep using ball lightning if you want. |
