Its ok i am having a blast with the build, it performed as i expected it to perform after my tests on Delve, clearing all content so far and syndicate encounters are no issue as other builds are having a hard time, this is tanky enough to take on anything. I hope you do well on your exams and thanks again for the Build.

One note if i may suggest is to write in the build use of vaal RoA. For some ppl it is common sense to use it but others might not know about it.
Basically makes any boss encounter and specifically the syndicate encounters a breeze. The maim is so good you can basically dps and kite away..Fortification encounter everyone is crying about? i Kill the door, phase run go in, pop Vaal RoA, shoot an arrow or two and run in a circle and everything dies (as the occultist would say).

I spent quite a while trying to tweak the build on PoB for Toxic Rain and the result is basically that Toxic Rain will never work with Witch or any of its Ascension :( And in this build it is very bad, because the virtulence stacks are sooo delayed with it (because you need to wait for explosion) and your damage with Toxic Rain is non-existent, so no reason to run it really.

1. I did HoG on this build like yesterday, it was painful, but doable (I am still lacking at least 4k ES, as I have only 8k, so with more ES it would be A LOT better).

4. See my profile, I think I have very decent flasks, or at least I was not able to find any better alternatives (I have ignite res, bleed res, curse res, damage reduction, ele resists and faster ES recharge in them, what is imo perfect)

EDIT: And I agree that the build should be definitely updated to include Vaal Discipline (what basically makes you almost immortal for it's duration, I would say it's almost mandatory part of build) and Vaal Rain Of Arrows (for free main).

Btw just tested Mirage archer and it does not give virulence stacks so wipe that from suggestions in boss mechanics. Faster attacks or poachers mark is an alternative when temp chains is not needed. Frenzy charges on crawler give insane dps (+20% more deeps) and attack speed.
Figured I'd chime in again, and give a bit of an update/diary of how this build has worked for me this league. Once again, I made some changes to the core build. As usual, I do not recommend you try these changes, as they remove defenses, which are especially important until they nerf the syndicate members later this week. My characters are public, you can view "XyrmsBetrayal" for this league's version, and "XyrmsDelveRain" for last league's.

The build actually proved to be a very capable league starter. This wasn't a total surprise, but it was the first time I league started with a CI build. I chose to start as life, and transition to CI/ES after I finished the story and hit maps. I did most of the story on two two-links (RoA-Lesser Poison, and HoAg-Pierce). I then used two 4-links basically until level 90 (RoA-Poison-Curse on Hit-Proj Weakness, and HoAg-Minion Damage-Damage on Full Life-Vicious Proj). I was then stuck in this scenario for WAY longer than I anticipated because GGG bungled the acquisition of the old vorici jeweler crafting, which meant offcoloring (which I also needed to heavily do on my gloves, boots, and chest) was absurd. I ended up spending 5ex just to offcolor my chest with the expensive chrome approach, and then another 3 to 6L. It was frustrating and almost made me quit the build. Ultimately not a problem with the build, but GGG's huge fuckup with crafting this league, and incredibly slow response (who lets their team go to a skeleton crew days after a major release? Poor project planning...).

After spending what can only be described as an absurd amount of currency working around the removal of the jeweler off-color trick, it was smooth sailing. I was able to finish the zana story, kill uber elder once (2 deaths, but I was tired and played poorly, and had super bad gear, no yugul pantheon, etc), and then promptly shape my atlas. My goal this league was to push to 100 and go 40/40. I'm currently swimming in elder fungal hollow and tower maps. Pure breachstones, while expensive, have made leveling a breeze.

I should be able to finish off level 99 (currently 13% in) probably tomorrow or thursday. The build is incredibly safe... even the current tuning of syndicate encounters isn't an issue. Even after stripping some defenses in favor of more damage, I still have almost 10.7k ES at 99, and was over 10k since I think 95 (when I got my last abyss jewel socketed). Once I hit 100, I plan to keep this character around as a boss killer and delve pusher (once sulphite/azerite gets fixed), and work on my next pet project.

What´s the priority of the jewels in the skill tree? watcher´s eye and then minion ones? Also in the path of building link you don´t use "Golden Rule" which is mentioned in the guide. I´m a bit confused because following path of building you only have 4 sockets (watcher´s eye + 3 ghastly ones) and there isn´t room for all the gems mentioned in the guide.

Also would thank if somebody can give me some tips on priorities to upgrade my actual build.

Golden rule is the first to slot especially if you dont use quill rain. Rest is slot them as they come, watchers eye second probably if you got money to buy. Abyss jewels arent that important for the build only the +es mod is nice to have. Energy from within if you need a nice ES bump. So basically you are replacing abyss with uniques.

Make your characters public so we can see what you need to improve in your build or gear.

Edit forgot to write about the blind mod which should be on your abyss jewel that is left assuming you got 3 uniques +1 abyss or 2 uniques and 1 abyss (level dependant).

I think it´s public now, thanks for the help. I enjoy the build and gameplay, but i reached the point that i need to upgrade it and i´m not sure about which way to take first.
Is there any way to view the talent tree without Path of Building? I'm unable to download it.
