Since there's no 2x hatred + clarity in league, is it fine dropping the hatred pen even for t16?
Hatred pen was just the best 3rd mod I could find on the market. It's not really needed as it's not very meaningful.

Also wtf is ur pc specs.
Windows says NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 16,0 GB RAM.
Hello, can i just what the bandit is and how I can level this? Which items do you recommend and what gems? I am asking because I am unsure when it starts becoming auto.

I am using Freezing pulse and Ica nova as well as a tabula rasa and Seven-League boots to level myself. I thought that if this build is cold based, i should go cold gems until i can use the other gems needed. is this a good idea?

Also, what mods do you recommend on rare items?

It's quite bland, but there's this:

Depending on much currency you can (or can't) dedicate to your leveling setup, there are a few choices:
  • Abberath's Hooves
  • Poet's Pen
  • Generic selfcast spell build

You may begin autobombing the moment you complete the Merciless Lab, aka, as soon as you can allocate both Ambush and Assassinate, and Deadly Infusion.
As I already let you know ingame, I do not have a leveling section for the guide (for now?). Not because I want to make other people's lives harder, but because I don't have a clue about what works well and what doesn't; I do not make new characters (that also happen to be spell-casters) often.

I'm trying to do this build, should I kill all bandits or help Alira?
Hey, can I get your advice on the helm I'm trying to craft?

It's only lvl 18 AoE, but with the extra, it works out to be better than a lvl 21 gem. Problem is, no life or resists. Is it worth the annul (and just keep rolling if it bricks)? Or should I not risk it and just use it as it is? I'm not sure the odds on Horror crafting or how much harder it'll be to roll something better. Right now it's about a 20% damage increase over Tempest Binding.

Hello, I would say that it's very unusual for someone to try to craft an item with full mods, unless you can metacraft afterwards. In your case that's not possible, I can't see an easy way to improve the helmet. However, that helmet will be enough to clear anything comfortably.
Could we use a weapon swap for single target DPS, I'm clearing maps fine but can't kill bosses efficiently
Thanks for the tips on the helm, but I wasn't quite happy with it, so I got a new base (non-hubris, unfortunately) and came up with this:

I would've preferred 2 dps mods, but I can't say no to life and a T2 resist. The resist also allowed me to recraft my gloves for attack speed:

Which in turn allowed me to get 35% movespeed boots:

Feels good to gear a non-MF character for a change, lol. It's fun hunting down actual items, doing a bit of crafting.

Just one more question, what would you consider the BiS enchant for this build? I went with speed, because Herald of Thunder damage on an i84 shaper base didn't exist, but if I wanted to try crafting another helm, I should probably wait until I can get a Herald of Thunder base, right?

I took a look at your character and saw that it's level 83, most gems are level 14, and there isn't a Quicksilver Flask to be found, so I'm just going to go with: You're not experienced enough to play this build, or you're bullshitting me.

There are two choices, speed or damage. If you want speed, go for the golem buff or the shield charge attack speed, they're basically the same in practice. If you want damage, decide what's bottlenecking you. Herald of Ice should almost never need more damage, so it boils down to either Herald of Thunder or Glacial Cascade.

Personally, for my character, Glacial Cascade conversion would be a huge damage boost (~11%), but I bought my helmet and have no intention of running lab until I finish the crafting process.

I assure you I'm not 'bullshitting' you didn't have the budget for the gems so was levelling them myself, was merely looking for a suggestion for clearing map bosses. Not an expert
