[3.10] OneShotKill Elemental Hit Ballista Hiero - 9.6 million DPS - EZ Boss Killer + budget friendly

I noticed that you did not take point blank in your "3.10 cluster jewel" pob.
It only cost 1 passive point, is it worth taking?

I'm loving this build more and more! :D

Only for compare, pls whats your "Elemental Hit" dmg in Character status (mean when you pres C keyboard :D ). I must for now change ring and neck for resistance from dmg, so Im only interestign about this dmg.

With the changes/nerfs to equipment

- From 100% more damage with arrow hits at close range to 50% for Chin Sol and now we are using Quill Rain instead of it.

and skills

- Point Blank now deals 30% more damage at close range instead of 50% in the past
- Ballista Totem is placed besides us instead of at range


Point Blank isn't an automatic fit to the build at this point as we will be playing at range because of the above.

That said, if one wishes to play up close and personal so he can take advantage of Point Blank, feel free to!

My Character Damage in hideout with Precision level 1 on, no totem casted is as follows

Vei_Legion(Standard League, Max 7 Totems) - 165.7k DPS
Vei_Delirium(Delirium League, Max 8 Totems) - 52.4k DPS

It's not expensive to get this build running, which makes for a good starter***

Current Pricings(Non Corrupted)

Frostferno - 20c
Quill Rain - 1c
Skirmish - 1 Alch
Gang's Momentum - 1 Jeweller
Marylene's Fallacy - 1c
Glove(Attack Speed with Accuracy (Both T2)) - 3c
Combat Focus(Viridian/Crimson) - 1c each
Rain of Splinters(Below 40%) - 1c


For the remaining items,

Rings and Belts - a few chaos - Just buy the highest resist ones and craft life/elemental damage with attacks on them.
Body Armour - 1c - Buy a non unique one with 140+ life(and % Max life if able) and some resist. We will use this till we upgrade to Kaom's Heart

Very cheap equipments for very solid DPS.

***Though this build will only start showing it's real power at level 60 onwards which is when we can start using Frostferno.

Refer to "09 Passive Tree Progression(For 1 Cluster Jewel)" to understand what points to allocate first in the Passive Tree.

You can refer to PoB for equipment ideas later on at the higher levels.

For a possible suggestion on leveling a new character from scratch without any twinks/currencies etc, you can refer to "10. Leveling Guide(1 to 60)" which I have just added today.

Sure, that is another possible option too if you prefer the Phase Run over extended Vaal Grace duration, though it will requires changing of colours. I myself value Phase Run a lot too.

For phasing though, we can also get that from Quartz Flask but I understand that not everyone is willing to allocate a Flask slot for it.

Anyway will make some edits later to this to indicate the above as a possible option. Thanks :)

*As for Vaal Grace with increased duration, I gotten good use of it during deep delving when the mine cart moved very fast at certain times and I didn't had a chance to put totems while keeping up with the cart.

In the end I got surrounded by enemies and the Vaal Grace helped me survive. Of course I could have move at my own pace instead of following the cart, just quoting an example that the increased Vaal Grace duration got put into good use.

About leveling - just what Vei said. Really cheap and powerful from lvl 5, when you can take Quill Rain. And chaos vendor recipe is a reliable way to gather additional currency for clusters and Kaom.

One note: Frostferno costs 20ch, but it is made from prophesy on Estuary map Tier 4, and total cost of map + base item + prophesy is about 4ch. I did one by my elder character. If you have no one to help you - you can probably ask in chat while having ingredients on hands.

Also tried +2 projectile corruption vs. +2 fire in POB - difference is 0.5%, but only one +2 projectile Frostferno on the market costs 6ex and only one +2 fire costs 10ex.

Hi all :) Level 93 now with this build, only thing I changed is
using the amulet Xoph's blood (no need to take avatar of fire in tree)
and instead taking some reduced mana reserved skill nodes in the left upper corner so I can use the following:
- grace
- flesh and stone
- skitterbots
- enlighten lvl2 (lvl 3 eventually)


All ele-resistances at about 120% and Chaos resistance at 20% or so (which helps a lot, felt terrible when I was at -30%)

I am using the "more evasion" tree version Vei posted so I am at around 10k evasion now, and 6k life which is not tanky but manageable.

I have my Flammability curse on a ring as I hate casting frenzy manually xD.

The build cost me quite a bit I have to say, at least 10-15 exalts now if I have to guess, but it's still going strong and I could easily invest 20 ex more (for watchers eye or a stygian vise or a second unset ring.

Simulacrum was doable until wave 20, but had no chance at the boss, he took no damage whatsoever. guess I would need a second curse (ele weakness?) for him.
Also he one-hit me several times.

My awakening level is 4 at the moment, but can't seem to get any higher maps (my map pool isn't growing for 3 days now, still at T12 and not lucky with drops)
The damage is not the problem though and also not dying much, might get to level 94 or 95 ^^
