pretty sure Point Blank would just increase the projectile impact damage and not the new "explosion" from CA. Poison-damage is also not affected by it...

this is a ranger version i am working on as a baseline. Damage isn't really a concern, but mana and life is. I am thinking that trickster may be the superior ascendancy because CA + HoA with pet seems like it would be more than enough killing power for anything in the game. Im not super concerned with the poison prolif and virulence duration because it should be easy enough to maintain a high stack count to empower pet. This is just at first glance however so feel free to correct me

Updated my version, now with 5.8k life and 41k dps. It seems a bit low though, but it still misses buff from the two heralds..Items are just placeholders, though steel rings would be the BiS ring I think...

edit: changed harbinger bow with lioneye's glare, improving a bit.

I´m interested in doing a Caustic Arrow build this league too. But there are quite some things i don´t understand yet.

There are already some good guides around for Caustic Arrow, regarding the degen effect.

But ZiggyD mentioned that it's now possible to fokus on the explosion part of Caustic Arrow with a high DPS bow.

But when i try to fokus on this in path of building, it does just nothing damage wise. Is it just not implemented yet?

And can anybody with experience tell if going with a high pdps rare bow will be competitive to a degen fokused build?

-More than 200% life

-Should get a major buff when the new caustic arrow + Herald is released

To put the damage in perspective 50k DoT dps can clear T16 easy. This build has 70k DoT dps before the new buffs coming in.
