Do not you have a market group to know that decreasing more and more builds will only leave more and more players in the game? Tecent have not seen this yet?

Elemental conversion for EH triples damage at relatively low cost - 10 extra passives for 2 jewel slots at specific locations and 2 ring slots (Xoph's is not counted because it has good stats even without AoF). This was need to be fixed and it was fixed in a good way.

EH with no damage conversion still requires some investments into EE. It also have a downside of using support gems with less DPS multipliers compared to those used by EH with damage conversion.

This is not true. DPS of EH without damage conversion is pretty high and easily hits 1M Shaper DPS with cheap items and melee weapon.

can we get some similar choices with Vorici since the ability to do his quests depends so heavily on what kind of build you are?

Since I played some totem builds last two leagues i arrived to the solution of paying 1 regret for every Vorici mission done solo, switching on and off the Ancestral Bond in tree so i can mannualy cast some spells and control my damage output...
I know they want me to use guardian for dominating blow, but... isn't necro just better? You've got 50% increased duration built into your ascendancy, plus all the usual goodies with mistress of sacrifice, commander of darkness, and minion damage mods.

I guess maybe guardian is the ES / low life version, and necro is the life based version. But that free 50% duration is hard to part with.

They don't seem that expensive to me. In incursion a t16 map was about 25 chaos to buy. Now obviously if you buy a real T16 map you get to roll the mods you want on it, but 15 chaos for a randomly rolled one seems pretty decent, so long as your build is flexible enough to handle all mods.
I like the Patch. New Zana Mods are nice.
glad to see that ice trap got some love <3 though the damage wasnt the most pressing matter, it was rather its aoe but great start

Necro will yield better minions, but there's not a lot of useful stuff in the Witch starting area for the melee attack component of dominating blow and Necro doesn't have anything specifically useful for dominated minions (which is what really puts it over the top with respect to Skeletons/Zombies/Spectres), so Guardian will probably wind up beating it out because it can start the snowball faster with better auras and personal damage even if the minions are somewhat inferior.

As for skill duration, if you go anywhere near the middle of the tree you can pick some up on the cheap. It's not a big deal.

As for the map costs, when you put it that way, seems reasonable, then.
