Haste has replaced Zealotry removed on the helmet. The DPS loss is minimal according to PoB, and I still get access to Vaal Haste for a crazy boost when needed. It will not be triggered by CwDT but still benefits from Increased Duration nicely! The Jewel with Phasing is a nice addition assuming I can get it. As for mana reservation, I get exactly 100% if I take the full Sovereignety cluster.
Boots:
-Stone Golem
-Animate Guardian
-Minion Life
-Feeding Frenzy
I consider golem's life regen mandatory, so it stays there. Zombies have been removed to make way for Minion Life, and I pray that the AG will have enough health as it should get Kingmaker for Fortify aura. I have considered Meat Shield or Empower instead of Feeding Frenzy, but who would apply the buff then? No room for a Zombie + Feeding Frenzy elsewhere.
Nothing new here. I'm personally not a big fan of Bone Offering, but permanent block chance + regen is pretty sick in HC. Might keep the AG up and running without Empower?
Shield:
-Armageddon Brand
-Curse On Hit
-Elemental Weakness
Typical EE and Ele Weakness setup. Removed Flame Dash to make room for others skills, and I'm still not sure if that was the smartest move.
Personnal thoughts:
This leaves us with some skills I haven't found the sockets for, namely, Phase Run, Convocation and Flame Dash. Phase Run is the least of my worries thanks to Vaal Haste. As for Convocation and Flame Dash, I could slot them in Unset Rings instead, but is it worth the health and resistances I could get with different rings? I am tempted to say yes thanks to the added survivability from Dread Banner and Sand Form, but you probably know more about it than I do.
SDs could be replaced with melee spectres instead, like EVFs or RSs, to make better use of Dread Banner's impale aura? In that case, I'd switch Wrath to Hatred, but that's pretty much it.
The addition of Vaal Haste also ramps up the Dexterity requirements significantly. I could leave it to a lower level, the buffs are still pretty decent at a lower level anyway.
Ideas and suggestions to improve on my current setup are more than welcome.
If you have phasing/haste eye, you could try cast when damage taken 1 + frost wall 10/20. This is what I use actually. It will completely block monsters from moving. It blocks almost all ranged monster attacks. Spectres can shoot through it. You have perma phasing, so you won't get deathtrapped :)
Convocation is important. You'll understand if you run Simulacrum. Ranged spectres will shoot from leash range. So they can be far away from your necro. They will only teleport to you when they are outside leash range. You want them to be shooting froom close to your necro, so convocation is important. You also need it to pull them out of danger, like standing in degen.
EVF hit with 100% elemental and won't proc impale. RS can though!

If I go the Frost Wall route, what gems in my setup should I drop? Also, are RS that good compared to SD? Is there a good range physical spectre for levelling until I can get these?
As for Convocation, is it fine in an Unset Ring? If not, what gem should I drop?
A couple words about Dread Banner: the tooltip says it empales on attacks, with no mentions of elemental damage. Elemental Hit counts as an attack right? So it should work, unless the tooltip if misleading. Also, do you get charge if your allies empale or do you have the one to be doing it?

I know only one good(?) phys damage Spectre - Kitava's Herald. Thou it was in Blight League before all nerfs.

Sounds good. Guess I'll go Unset Ring and grab Heralds until I can get RS spectres. Maybe some kind soul will let me visit their map if they get it, but in HC, I highly doubt it.
Speaking of RS, what's a good setup? I'm not really used to projectile builds so I dunno.
Mapping: Spectres - Minion Damage - Damage on Full Life - Deathmark - GMP - Pierce
Bossing: Spectres - Minion Damage - Damage on Full Life - Deathmark - Vicious Projectiles - Hypothermia
You need 3B-2G-1R sockets.
Damage on Full Life - if you have Grave Intentions your spectres gain 10% life as ES, and RS have great life pool, so you'll have ~10k+ ES on spectres. RS are ranged spectres, so they won't take much damage, so Damage on Full life works great for them.
Quick question about Hypothermia support gem for RS.
Does ALL ennemies (like Sirus etc) will be chilled ? No endgame bosses are immune to chill ? If they are, the gem is 100% useless as I read it ?

no enemies are immune to Chill/Shock.

With Profane Proxy bots won't chill anything for sure, and RS won't chill a boss like Shaper on first shot, there is some damage treshold.
Just put Profane Proxy into right slot or don't use any curse in ring socket. Or change the ring :)

Extra Aura?
Strong Zombies?
Strong AG with lots of health?
Strong Golem?
Or maybe just a nice link that boost myself?
