Hi Kay, is it advisable to get unending hunger for spec and spider build?

and also how to craft +1 skill gem on citrine amulet? is it compulsory?

I have been using two SD's and two BT's for a while now. Its not supposed to be great but for some reason it works well together.

Some synergy between the two... Every time I go to 4 sd's it feels lacking.

I am not using a GMP. I just swap out a concentrated for the frenzy on tougher bosses.

Are there elements on some of these mobs that poedb is not showing?

I read that Solar guards fro clear and Slave drivers for boss are still best. Lets hope someone finds something better in the "over 350 spectres GG added. Still a lot of testing going on out there hopefully there will be a new king crowned.

I've done a lot of testing and almost everything is bad. A lot of the new spectres have big numbers in poedb, but they also have very long cast times or long cooldown or both.

Here's an example:

Solar Guard
Fireball
Deals 1574 to 2437 Fire Damage
Cast Time: 0.85 Second

1851-2867 DPS


Frost Sentinel
Ice Spear
Deals 1009 to 1513 Cold Damage
Cast Time: 0.85 Second

1187-1780 DPS


Snowcaller (Redeemer monsters)
MonsterProjectileSpell
Deals 1585 to 2378 Cold Damage
Cast Time: 1.33 Second

1191-1787 DPS


Another problem is some have a lot of abilities, so they will switch between different spells. Baranite Thaumaturge is one of the worst because its ground aoe takes 4 seconds to cast! Most of the old school spectres only use one ability so you get continuous DPS.

running 2 SD's and 3 Scales of Esh doing early red maps easy on a 5 link

Just tested a few maps with Merveil's Blessed and POH - can confirm, the 3s cd frostbolt almost never comes into play with double echo. The dps isn't terrible - reminds me really of a somewhat better frost sentinel for bossing.

Slow, casual player so just getting to maps now and cleared Merc Lab and was following the PoB for the base build and it says for 3rd Ascendancy to get Mistress of Sacrifice while the OP leveling guide says to get Bone Barrier.

MoS is the "best" one to get 3rd (after Mindless Aggression and Unnatural Strength), right?

Hate that spell/abilty dmg is only way we really can gauge spectre dmg, wish their attack damage range was part of the data. We can sometimes get vague dmg number from the zone they are in.
I mostly really want to find a good Physical damage based spectre be it attack skill or spell skill to do an impale style Spectre with the new cluster jewel notable.
