EVF use leap slam and elemental hit. I believe their version of Elemental hit does a 100% conversion from physical because they seem to scale with melee physical support. It also completely blocks physical damage, so brutality actually makes them do no damage at all.

So you can't use all the nice physical stuff like Pride, Vulnerability, War Banner, Brutality, Maim, etc.

This isn't too bad because it means they share gems with the spell casting spectres and makes it easy to swap between them!


You're almost right with the baron and iron will. It will give 'increased spell damage' vs 'more spell damage' from elemental focus support. This could be better, the same or worse. You'd need to check PoB. If you get Baron, it might be worth pushing for 1000 strength so zombies will leech life to your necro. I know some people following my build do that in their custom version!


On the topic of EVF, I've been working on an update to EVF + Spiders and it is looking really good. It has both fast clear speed and big boss killing damage. I think I'll post it on youtube to demonstrate it.

How is your mechanical skill? You can free up a gem slot by using Incinerate instead of Arma Brand for EE and curse. It also hits very quickly so it can replace Holy Flame Totem as your frenzy charge generator. That extra gem slot is for...

Replacing your amulet with Aul's Uprising/Haste. The free haste will allow you to fit in another aura (zealotry).

You could also try hunter orb slam on your body armour and hope you get 25% increased effect of offering.

After that, I would suggest the EB & MoM build.

Ohh yeah the New version of Vis Mortis what do you think with EVF? 20% Ele as extra chaos damage?

My build right now is clearing yellow corrupted 100+ tier 16 maps really fast, it's like easy mode, very Happy with it but I would still like to improve what i can :)

thank you so much,mechanicly i do fine im not dying much with the 7k life
and i will look into getting the amulet so i can have yet another aura, and i will try the incinirate that should be nice cause i took my skele''s out on bosses for the holy flame totem
so i can put those back in for now until i can get the amulet for free hast and put in another aura, should i also keep incinerate at lvl 1? also what enchants should i look for on boots/gloves for when i am running lab, i tried the hunters orb but all it did was add influence didnt give me a single hunters mod to my cheat piece rip

I'm not sure if Vis helps them because Elemental Hit always does 0 chaos and 0 physical.

Everything else looks OK, but I think you should try to fit in Convocation. EVF are so slow so the teleport is really helpful.

Minion Speed doesn't help that that much, so you could replace with Melee Physical. That will give them 25% more damage (940k -> 1.2M)

Incinerate mana cost is quite low and higher levels make the aoe bigger, so just level it up.

That's really bad about your hunter orb :( Did you check the ilevel of your body army before you use the orb? You need item level 80-83 for a 50-50 chance to get increased effect of Offering.

Elemental Focus will work!

Got a question about the guard skill. I don't think we're generating endurance charges so I opted for Ahn's Heritage shield for the +3 to max resists (and extra armor and onslaught while at minimum endurance charges). Got a decent corruption on it too 4% chance to block spell damage. Seems like a fine choice.

That being said I'm at 12K armor and seems like lvl 20 Vaal MS or Steelskin would be more beneficial than IC which only lasts 1sec without any endurance charges. Would love to hear your thoughts.
