I would not use an awakened CoH because it's only really useful against bosses. For normal mapping, everything will die quickly.

Conductivity (Flammability or Frostbite) if you need more dps.
Enfeeble or Temporal Chains if you have enough dps and want more defenses.
Pierce is useful for delve 500+. Slave Drivers become difficult to use becaause they have low hp, so I'm using Solar Guards to get to 600.

It's OK to use Victario instead of a rare shield, but you should still use Bone Offering to get a high block chance. You should only use Flesh Offering against bosses because their attacks are easy to move away from.

I'm going to update the cheap AG option to give more survivability to your necro.

EB comes from the helmet.

For me 550+ delve is where it become rippy. Paths are long so you want to push down as straight as possible, but there are nodes like azurite 3 with crit chance, damage mods and ele pen... So I still keep my AG away.

But for everything else, AG with blind aura is amazing. I think the radius is similar to blasphemy.

is it worth to swith to the new W+S build (Wand & Shield / EB & MoM) as described on page 838?
I am currently playing the "old" W+S build and doing very well with it..

I'm using Arakaali's Fang to summon spiders along with the specters. I use an orb of storms linked to culling strike to get the on-kill spider summon. Summoning spiders is not super reliable but it works and it cranks up the clear speed. During metamorph add phases I generate spiders too. Its a neat build but I am certainly not saying this is a "better" idea than the main build here but its fun for me. :)

Since I am using a lighting spell for culling strike, I need a non-lightning based spectre if I am to keep EE. I don't have to use a lightning-based spell for cull but OOS hits fast, so it works pretty decently. OOS steems to work better than storm brand so I guess it hits faster. Armageddon brand seemed too slow.

So I guess the question is what's the best non-lighting single target spectre? Or does anyone else have any ideas about this?
