Slave drivers calculation was added in PoB, dont need to do any gimmick anymore.

The only workarounds to do is for skitter/poh/ag, and applying proper settings in pob for elemental army/ag/skitter, along with other usual settings.

Anger gives flat damage, not % damage. Zealotry is much better (as per my quick PoB comparison, Anger 12% dmg, Zealotry 34%.)

If you can run both (PoH variant), then run both. But if you have to choose, Zealotry is better.

... 80c with open prefix, 4 jewelers to 6S and 76 to fuse. Got very lucky all round... not GREAT by any stretch, but it works.

Enhanced Vaal Fallen from temple/vaal outpost has the hardest hit. They're the ones in the gif. You can scale them to hit for 2mil shaper in a single hit. Extremely slow moving though. Zombies will do most of the map clearing I think. Might even be worth linking Skitterbots to 20/20 infernal legion?

People like Kitava's herald, but they seems to shoot their spell a lot.

Other option is the flicker strike monster in the snowy area in act 4. Vendigo I think. Some people like them, but they seem underpowered to me.

Yeah, no problem at all. You might be thinking of Jade Flask (+3000 evasion).

Quartz has 'dodge' and Soul of Lunaris has 'avoid'.

Avoidance and Dodge are different and separate to evasion.

Dodge is a layer of defence that grants a chance to prevent a damaging hit. The chance to dodge is a random roll made per attack/cast; it is not entropy-based like evasion nor is it affected by accuracy. Dodge is capped at 75% and is rolled before block. Damage avoidance is a separate mechanic and is rolled after block.

I'm not so sure about Unwavering Stance. It negates avoidance, which would be ok if we relied only on avoid on gear. Then it would be around 9-10% chance to avoid loss for permanent stun immunity. But many people use "supported by Blind" gloves with Armageddon Brand or "minions have chance to blind" jewel. Wiki says this on blind's page: "attacking a target which has Unwavering Stance will nullify the miss chance".

Another thing that came to mind is this belt:

It's budget option and high end option at the same time. If you're using Stygian Vise for just life and resists and you can get the resists from elsewhere, this is an option to get more minion stats from belt. If we compare those two, Vise has one jewel and one "belt". Darkness Enthroned has two jewels with 150% efficiency (so stats worth three regular jewels) and no "belt". Thus we can compare one jewelless belt vs. two jewels.

If you get resists from elsewhere the comparison is (with max rolls):

99 life from belt

VS.

80 life from jewels
40% inc minion damage
small increment on taunt/blind/hinder
(and possibly flat minion damage affix)

Are you sure Unwavering Stance negates avoidance? I could not find any thing that says US affects avoidance.

Unwavering Stance sets chance to avoid being stunned to 100% and sets evasion chance to 0%. It does not affect dodge chance.

The character cannot evade attacks, which means enemies will always hit regardless of their accuracy rating or chance to hit.

Blind is affected because it works with evasion, but the blind chance is only 10% with the gem or gloves and less with minion jewels (4-8%?). You will need to cast Arma Brand to get it to proc.

I was thinking for people who don't have high end gear and 9k+ life, Unwavering Stance will make gameplay smoother because they won't get stunned and become unable to move or do anything and the build has 75% block chance. It will also make levelling smoother.

It's an interesting comparison.

Would you rather have belt + eye:


145 life, 20% dmg, 6% cast speed (+random resists, +es)

Or Darkness and 2x eyes


120 life, 60% dmg, 18% cast speed
