Could someone please direct me to what enchantments are best for v1 of this build?

I don't know much about crafting...Do I use only a bound fossil on an lvl 86 helmet or bound+pristine fossil? This question could pretty much apply to all gear. Like I said I know pretty much nothing about crafting but I see the guide said use 1 or 2 fossils while I seen someone mention they used 3 (bound, pristine and shuddering for their boots).

You dont want pristine on helmet, because all minion things you want are prefixes too.
Generally, use more fossils when you targeting for something really specific, and you are ready to spend lot of cash to get some specific combination of stats.

How can I see V1 passive tree, now that you've changed the one in the guide to V2? Wasn't it supposed to be available as well for us who had already started before the update? EDIT the one in build archive is not the one we were following prior to this update, it goes back to July.

You dont want life. Because you want +3 socketed minion gems and two elder minion gems as links, so there is no room for life. For sufixes (like resists) you can only hope for best, or you can add some element rune, for example i crafted mine helmet (old one, not the one i have now) with bound+metallic, because i wanted "nearby enemies have -9% lighting resists" too.

Not necessarily.
I didnt care about my zombie/AG dmg so i used bound+pristine fossils in my helm.

For the W&S v2: Do we limit any of the dexterity gems or just add a lot of +dex to our gear? Losing that right side is a lot of dex to make up.

You only need 2 items with 40-50 dex on them, which isnt that bad when you need so few resistances.
