Kay's Summoner Memorial Page | New Guide is linked inside!

The change to +gems from weapons and the +2 minion gem level node also works on minion supports too. That could be a pretty huge boost.

Add to that the new minion wands, which seems to still be in the dark, could boost even more.
Do you happen to know of any VODs for an Act 1 - Act 10 play through?
The build that you linked "Magritte's Frost Sentinel Crit build: 1mil+ shaper DPS per spectre" doesnt have GMP or LMP in the spectre setup inside PoB.
So its not exactly 1 mil per spectre...

p.s. using pledge of hands is probably not worth it @3.8 since gem levels are quite important for spectres now. And there is a new wand on top of that.

Wonder which of the current spectres will be best for clear speed.

No more +1 spectres from bones of ullr cause it was "too powerful" (we'll possibly loose the +1 spectre fossil crafts, following the same logic).

Yes now this may (Very Small Possibility) Be okay though for the Bones of Ullr. They say they're changing it to something else. If we're lucky we may get some Sepctre Life that could offset the loss of Soul Weaver.

But they are saying if we have a high level minions gem, it will grant additional maximum minion count. So I think we can still summon at least 4 specter if we have 20 level skill gems or even more specters.

This drew my attention:

instead of affecting the maximum minion count, as the additional maximum spectres modifier was too much power from a single item. Now, raising the level of these minion gems to a high enough level will grant additional maximum minions, so these modifiers are still useful.

I honestly doubt this, but it could mean that a higher level Raise Spectre will grant more than 2 spectres since the gem reveal already shows 'maximum 2'. Unless, it only give 2 spectres at level 20, which would then make Raise Spectre especially bad at low levels.

The other thought is whether the current boots we have will go legacy. May not mean much, but say crafted +1 spectre boots would become expensive commodities on standard. Especially things like this:

Magritte's build was supplied by Magritte, so I just trust that everything is as it says it is. The linked videos seem to confirm the damage potential of the build, though: I think it shows a 2min UE kill.

Pledge of Hands does result in a lower gem level, but it makes up for it with its special property: 3x repeat casts with Spell Echo. I've personally found that because spectres cast 4 times with Pledge, you can forgo Pierce Support. Additionally, each repeat gains 35% more damage (and 50% more aoe)!

Also now that GGG has come out to say that +spectre level is a boots affix, we can get back to having level 84 spectres.

I think Goatman Fire-Raisers are the best map clearing spectre. I don't think this will change in 3.8. They completely leave SGs in the dust. They fire fireballs at long range and magma balls at medium range. The magma balls pierce all, so anything that doesn't die to the fireballs will die to the magma balls. The damage of GFR fireball is actually higher than SGs' as well.

I recommend trying them out.

Can they do reflect?
Hi Kayella,

A quick question about your pledge of hands.
I was looking at your POB and found one of mods from you pledge of hands is 'socketed gems deal 52% more spell damage' instead of supported by lvl 30 spell echo. Where did you find this staff? or did you manually edit the mod in your POB? if latter, how lvl 30 spell echo is equivalent to 52% more spell damage?
