Hey Guys, I am done all of my goals for Legion, and now just want to try different builds. I am trying this build out, haven't done a spectre build in a long time now. I am following the guide pretty damn closely. Im up to act 6 now and i have the shield and still using lifesprig. I have the helm with the Slave Driver Spectres in there and raise zombies in a tabula. I will say leveling with the Slave Drivers feels terrible so far. I have done my first lab but i had to use fire cannibals, the slave drivers were level 39 and they couldnt kill iazro without dyding. And even Act 5 kitava, i killed kitava using the slave drivers but it was painful, and man do they die a lot, even to yellow mobs, i mean even in the helm with the first ascendancy. i even took out phantasm like the guide says and linked spell echo to try and help with the slave driver damage but it just isnt there at the moment. I am thinking it is not a good idea to use them until you can use a 6 link and maybe done the 2nd lab? i dont know. at this point, i cant even stop and kill yellow mobs because they take forever to kill with the slave drivers and usually 1 or 2 die before they even kill the yellow mob. i will have to say in all the builds i have done this is the worst experience i had leveling, with unlimited currency and twink gear. I think i am going to maybe stick to cannibals until i do 2nd lab or can get the slave drivers in a 6 link without them dying, i mean, if i take them out of the helm now and put them in tabula, they will probably die even faster lol. Im not really getting the build so far. i think it is more of an end game build and not much of a league starter/ssf build at all, unless you converted to these slave drivers in end game or something, i dont know. thats all for now. I checked out your character and you have a tabula, you can put your spectre gem into there. As for passives: You can remove passives for brand (explosive rune section). For spectre to get more health, put point towards minion life leech next to the gravepact section and put point Minion life and life regeneration. Get elemental equilibrium for more DPS. I've been working on a new levelling guide that is far better than the current one. It's a lot simplier and has much more survivability for your necro and the spectres. You can survive getting swarmed: Here's the Act 6 Tukohama fight that is usually very hard on spectres. Thank you for the pointers, i did what you said, i went to EE and switched to Armageddon Brand, and i even put the conductivity curse on the brand as well to help with damage (since they do lightning damage). i also took the extra life regen and life for minion nodes, also put them in my tabula. So the damage is there a bit more, it is better, however, man they still die to every boss (the slave drivers) they kept dying to brine king, had to keep portal back to control blocks, then back again respawn them before the fight and so on, and had to do this 3 times til brine king finally died. also, i cannot do the 2nd lab because they die so fast and i cant respawn them, i have to quit the lab. man this build is really tough to level, i like the potential of the build, i really do, but i just think leveling with totems or self cast spell cast to get to higher level might be better? not sure. or maybe use different spectres all together. Im going to keep trying to push here with them, but so far the leveling process has been quite agonizing to say the least. never had to try so many different things to level usually through all the Acts in about 4 hours with twink gear. this feels like I am starting a new league with no twink gear, and i have twink gear on lmao. anyways thanks for trying to help, much appreciated	Posted by OmegaPeePeeClap#1646 on Aug 13, 2019, 11:02:11 AM Quote this Post
Spoiler you dont have to choose victario's shield and 1 hand weapon for charges. you can get +1 minimum frenzy jewels and https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Supreme_Grandstanding notable with this way you can share your frenzy charges with your spectres. and with power charge gain on crit and some adjustments you can gain power charges too. this way you can max out a lot of dps while using pledge of hands. i ll probably use a rare spectre chest with +1 spectres and +1 to curses or maybe some other zombie - skellies action when i have time. i would get kaom's roots for boots rampage gloves abyss belt regular rare accs with +1 frenzy and a basic rare helmet. should perform pretty well enough. scrap the idea it does not work with minimum charges.
