I've been meaning to look into how to get more ES on the hybrid build and that's pretty incredible. The main difference is that I'm using Diadem to reserve more auras, so it's more of a MoM build. Hm.

Brands have the advantage of long base duration compared to Firestorm (base duration = 2s). You can use them like an immortal totem, eg. drop three brands down on a chest, open the chest, move away.

Brands also stick to their target, so if they move around, they will continue to activate, and direct your minions to attack.

I just rely on corpses on the ground during mapping. I prefer not to self cast desecrate because it has a slow cast time and stopping to cast for too long is a good way to get killed, especially against Legion.

I have DEX on my offhand, so it should be enough. Otherwise, just use a level 19 desecrate with a +1 chaos wand (sell a blue wand with a chaos spell gem to vendor).

I'm still min-maxing my gear, but ideally you would have more DEX and higher level haste. Also, having a haste Aura, is good for getting a phasing watcher's eye. The perma-phasing is a substantial QoL upgrade.

At which point should I transition to the “spectre-only” setup?
I´m just lvl 55 in Act 6, but currently I am running around with 3 spectre, 1 golem, 7 zombies and the additional phantasm spirits on top.
Since I´m playing on Playstation 4, the frame rate start to drop as soon as I pop a legion encounter.
Also progressing through the labyrinth trails in act 6 is not easy, cause I can´t see properly ^^
That´s why I´m asking.

Should I finish act 10 first, before I transition the gem setup?

There is one thing i am struggling with with this build: Atziri. Normal Atziri dies easily, but almost anything in the fight instantly kills the spectres, and Uber Atziri just seems impossible. Is it an inherent weakness in the build? is there anything i can do to make it work?

I swapped pretty soon to using Slave Drivers (Like as soon as I hit Control Blocks). Make the swap and see how it feels. Keep Zombie/Phantasma if you feel they are still needed. You can usually drop these by the time you can wear your helm/chest. If you cannot 5/6l spectre and have 4 of them you may want to hold off on doing the swap until you can equip either a 5/6l Vis Mortis or as the guide mentions a helm with 2 skills on it like the one below.



Once you have some auras and decent points in your tree they will be plenty strong enough to destroy everything.

It´s possible but not easy, i lost x3 spectres at final battle also i died x3 times because i´m bad at dodging xD, you must abuse from Convocation but spectres..will die..but even with only 1 you can do it

Btw, first Uber Atziri and gloves dropped^^

You need to be very quick at recognising which of the clones is not the mirror. You've got about 1-2sec to do it. Stand under any of the other clones, drop some brands and be ready to use Convocation when they are targettable.

Also make sure you don't have random Brands lying around. If they tag mirror clone, your spectres are dead.



I spotted the right clone to attack, but I left two Arma brands on the ground. The mirror clone spawned on top of them and I lost 3 spectres.

Option 1: At level 34, when you can buy Wraithlord helmet. Spectres are weak and can die.

Option 2: At the start of Act 5, when you can get Slave Drivers. They will melt everything.

Once you hit Act 6, you can buy all the necessary gems for the final build from Nessa (clear the beach first).


I recommend option 2 if you're new to the build. (I switch at 34)
