Hello,
Thank you Kayella for a great build guide. I just killed uber elder for the first time on this character and honestly, considering all mistakes I did, I'm impressed with how strong the build is. I did it on lvl 92 with 5,6k HP + 800 ES. I wasn't sure if my damage will be enough because I recently restarted most of my gems to give them 20% quality. Half of my gems were lvl 15/16. I died once, but that's purely on me. I was very focused on keeping guardian away from shaper beam and I didn't pay much attention to my flasks, so at one point I got hit by a shaper ball while having 2k HP and no flask charges. My damage was surprisingly fine - I got to first portal phase basically immediately. I didn't time the fight but it was around 2:30-3:00 minutes (minus death and time spent to get back).

My build is far from being optimized, so there's a lot of room for improvements. I use Flesh and Stone + Dread Banner instead of Haste, because I felt too squishy. I'm currently testing Summon Phantasm instead of Elemental Focus in my 6-link so I may have some use for Impale from Dread Banner. I'm still not sure if Phantasm are better, but damage seems fine. PoB shows ~420k shaper DPS per spectre + ~130k per phantasm so in perfect conditions it should be almost 3 mln shaper DPS, but realistically it's probably closer to 2 mln. I forgot to summon lvl 84 spectres for uber fight, so I kept them at lvl 83 in PoB.

Animate guardian also survived both encounters - again no problem (in fact he has never died). A lot of people seem to be doubting the power of the original build and feeling like you 'have' to add spiders for dps but I can assure everyone it is still very strong and capable just with solar guards and you don't need to switch any gems.

The only real changes I have made from the original build are ...

1.craft the +1 min endurance charges on all jewellery
2.put storm brand set up in shield
3.put increase duration in immortal call set up in boots
4.use a basalt flask instead of jade
5.have 1 source of blind, taunt, hinder across abyss jewels


for uber elder I also make these changes
1.take out unending hunger jewel for another abyss jewel
2.replace bleed life flask with remove freeze life flask
3.replace remove curse quicksilver with movement quicksilver

And thats it! Hope everyone enjoys!

I could try uber elder again but think its time to run some elder glaciers ...

but I try to summon spider but nothing happen

Desecrate - throw jar - kill worm = nothing happen

can you suggest for detail cause I think I did something wrong

1. Check if you have the Dagger in your hand. If you have it on weapon swap, it is easy to make a mistake. I sometimes do.

2. Sometimes the spectres will kill the worms. Do this:
a) cast desecrate x3 on your summoner
b) cast storm brand x2 on your summoner
c) cast storm brand x1 away from your summoner
d) wait for the spectres to move away
e) use worm jar

Nice personal optimisations. It's definitely possible to kill everything even with GMP.

The bug with Uber Elder fight is fixed in today's patch, so it should be a lot easier now.

One thing that people come to realise is that a Spectre Summoner is a very complex build in itself. There are a lot of interactions between curses/auras/gem links that will buff different spectres. The basic build is an optimised 'generic' build that can be played as is, and it can be optimised/customised depending on your playstyle and choice of spectre.

I'm currently planning a major build guide re-write to reflect this.

Phantasms are a very interesting addition to the build. There is some doubt/confusion about their 'true DPS', but they don't seem to hurt overall DPS and they add extra piercing projectiles. I took them out of the build in 3.7 because people were having FPS stutter.

I'm currently testing a 'hybrid spectre' variant with 2x Enhanced Vaal + 2x Frost Sentinels /w Phantasms that uses Haste, Hatred, Dread Banner, Precision. It gives big single target damage with 2x 1.5mil dps Enhanced Vaals and whole screen freeze/shatter spam with 2x Frosties + 10x Phantasms.
