Synthesis only drop. I'm sure they'll make a re-appearance one day. Maybe a reworked synth will be added to core or the items will turn up in some reliquary.

I just changed gear from starter league to enhanced vaal, idk what i've done wrong but spectres keep dying right away and myself along with them, only gem links I haven't done are 3 red gems on the chest, any advise?

@Meltedopen how u equip your AG? how much hp he have on ur lvl24 gem? he's always up? )
I remove my AG on monolith in t15+, Elder final explosion, Atziri, etc

Someone can help me how can I make better survivality? I am level 87 atm. My frost Sentinels dmg is enough, but my life only near 4.2k. Don't have any block. I tried to use Flesh and Stone gem, but I can't make 25% Mana reservation. You can check my character. Thank you

Enhanced Vaal Fallen use completely different gems than Solar Guards. You will need the 3 reds.

I am running T16s and my AG has never died so far. He is pretty much equipped with the recommended AG gear (Gruthkull, Southbound, Kingmaker, rare helmet/boots) and currently has 32,728 HP. I switched from Puppet Master ascendancy to Mistress of Sacrifice and am running Spirit Offering instead of Flesh Offering. This will make your AG & yourself tankier but, you will lose a lot of DPS (I lost ~12% DPS).

If money is an issue or if your AG keeps dying, you can try a budget setup (Leer Cast, Dying Breath, Victario's Flight, Southbound, Ambu's Charge). Try to get a lvl 21 Animate Guardian.. levels matter A LOT and each level will add a good amount of HP for your AG. One last thing is to make sure your AG is res capped. They have a base res of 40% (and Victario's Clarity provides some res) so it shouldn't be too hard.

I have done 5 emblem encounters but, I lag a lot so I personally prefer to run 4 emblem encounters.

You can try running more defensive flasks - swap the sulphur flask for another defensive one (quartz, granite, basalt). You could even try swapping one of the life flasks for another defensive flask... they really make a huge difference (especially since we don't have much damage mitigation). Another thing you could try is to swap out one of your offensive curses for a defensive one (such as enfeeble). I'm guessing you're running AG with Kingmaker for fortify? If not, get fortify asap.

You could try running Summon Phantasm in your 6L (Magritte's recommended gem setup). They will be able to take advantage of the impale from Dread Banner and can sort of act as as meat shield.

I would also suggest running a guard skill (cast when damage taken & steelskin/immortal call).

As you level up, put all your points into life.

One last piece of advice would be to try to stay moving in combat. Don't stand still for too long, especially vs legion because some of them hit like trucks and can one shot you.

I think the PoB error is making people overlook it because you can't see the numbers. I still use it for my spiders, but I don't use it for my Enhanced Vaal because of their low attack speed.


Incidentally, I've tweaked the Enhanced Vaal build. It now reaches 3mil+ per spectre (trigger wand) or 2.4mil per spectre & 220k per spider (Arakaali dagger).

They really shouldn't be dying if they are level 84. PoB says they have around 250k hp and they should be res capped.

I have, however, lost Enhanced Vaal to some juiced up Vaal Legion rare with a big axe.
