That's a bit of an odd and ambiguous question. Seeing how you already have a 6 linked chest with life and gem setup for what I would assume is frost auto scouts. Endgame chest will be one with +1 to number of spectres, not sure what else you want for an answer :D

To start with, any 6 link chest you can afford with life+resists. Then upgrade to a +1 spectre chest with the best life/resist/other mods you can afford.

I've got 6000 life atm with the single cluster. Any idea how much I'd lose going to double cluster?

Most of the best current spectres are non spell projectile based so spell echo does not apply.

Newbie Questions:

Is desecrate useful when you do not need to summon spectre?
is there other gems for the "trigger skill when you use skill" than desecrate? (i can gem swap if any spectres die)

i was trying double clusters and had about 4500 life with single cluster i have now 5800 but dont have the best gear. Would not recommend double cluster without max life on any gear, especially on maps with crit multiplikator you die fast. Dont think double cluster is the way to go, only if you really has this bis max life gear. And for double cluster you have to be lvl 100 for all the passives^^. My 5 spectres crabbies do so much dmg, you dont need that extra dmg on a second cluster and give up about 1000 life and some armour/resis for more dmg. also on pure spectres you dont have much life on your gear, helmet is only energy shield no life, gloves only 40 maximum life and your chest with +1 spectres will not likly have much life on it and you have to craft 80 on it. also your wand will not likly have life.
And also awakened multistrike support is ridiculous expensive, 23 ex ^^

Desecrate is also used for bone offering

I don't get why people want to push for the single and double clusters setups...Without a single cluster jewel you can absolutely melt any boss or maps with SO's and have the survivability to tank most any hit. I run zero clusters at 8300 HP and do every Ultimatum.
