I think the load time in 3.13 is slower than 3.12... so your hideout instance is refresh before you log back in with main.
You need to:
1. open map with main (can be any map)
2. log into bank
3. log back into main
the map will keep original instance alive (no refresh)
I've found that it works even without a map portal open.

Adding a 2nd cluster generally increases DPS at the cost of survivability. However, it's often worth it, as stuff dying really fast helps with survival, indirectly. But I would make sure your gear is solid before switching to the 2nd cluster. (meaning you have good life/res/etc)
Does anyone play SO? I went to Sirus with them today, after the first phase, 2 died, then all the others. How did you solve the spectre survival issue and is there a solution at all?

We use Blade Vortex in a Trigger Wand + Fire/Lightning Dmg to spells to aply EE.
That would mean I should run through the packs to be in range for BV.
My Idea would be instead of "BV" I would use "Frost Bomb" with "Avatar of Fire" and a Brand spell for distance curse on hit and EE.
The -25% cold resis would be a nice dmg boost.
That's what safe playing is all about. The starter build (which was the only build once) is GREAT for survivability. I haven't tried it against endgame bosses (not because it can't take them, but because I absolutely despise their mechanics), but it can lead you deathless up to tier 16. If you find yourself dying with the new endgame builds, try and add some of the starter's features.
I am currently doing SRS build with minion instability and its going great so far. i've done all the maven encounters, sirus A9, and uber elder with the maven without too many issues.
just looking for some advice to be a little bit tankier.
i decided to use a Stabilising Sceptre to grant EE and save 3 passive points for use on my elegant hubris.
i have about 30ex to spend if anyone has any suggestions on an upgrade to be tankier.

Well I guess as I know this guide is a devouring diadem version but moving to proper +3 bone helmet would be much better than a +4 empower.
