You can trick the shielded mobs if you use SG. If you run yourself to that mob, they can kill him, even when they are outside.

I tried some T14-15 maps with SG and must say, personally i love them.
They have the same "aimbot" function as normal range mobs, they instantly shoot on enemies, as soon as they appear. Feels really smooth for mapping and killing bosses is not that much of a difference (didnt try guardians/shape tho)
Another point is, they are range mobs, so less issues with pathing through wicked map layouts with loots of doors.

What you will swap? I run 2x FE and 2x SG for mapping in flashback with faster proj, but then i swapped to 4x FEs because i feel better that way, but in legion i feel for maps SG are better because i can free more legion mobs with GMP as phantasms proj pierce target.

Isn't blind and projectile weakness 2 curses? I thought we could only do one without any special items.

You can use item with +1 additional curse or take a node on the passive tree and you can apply 2 curses

Blind is not a curse. Its applied by hit, so it gets on with storm brand. But since its not a aura it only applies to one enemy. So its good for bossing, but i doubt it makes much difference in mapping

It's a support gem:



It says 10%, but it seems to proc fairly easily.
