Yeah I feel like this build is good to an extend, but the endgame is fucking expensive, most expensive I've ever played.

Im a " casual " gamer and just want to be able to kill uber elder once in my life, but it wont be with this build. My SO cant kill any bosse, not even a2 Sirius and I've already invested a lot into it.

Now any upgrade will cost me several EX, more that I'll probably be able to farm. Good build for mapping, but bossing is just impossible for me, not enough damage.

Ok, I think the issue is you guys are trying to play the end game version of the build on no budget. I played slave drivers version until I could afford at least one cluster, diadem etc. And it was past lvl 85 I think.

SO are not meant to be run on a budget, but they do shine with enough investment.

I would recommend using SSF/HC version until you have enough currency to buy key items for the end game version (including at least one cluster, imo).

Salve Drivers can also be scaled. They won't feel as amazing, but they're nice.

I can definitely vouch for the build on double clusters, my only issue was defense which I improved, but offense was always through the roof. SO are mad crazy, I'm sure they will see a nerf next league.

EDIT: I also suspect you're not positioning SO correctly for bosses. If they're right on top of the boss, they will use their shitty melee skills and the dmg will suck. You need to get them a bit away, but not too far.

I think the issue here is that most of you do not understand how the build works as most of your profile are just literal copy paste of the POB.

First of all in order for SO to be strong you need to scale the cold damage via 2x vengeful commander medium cluster jewels and of course hatred + generosity aura and then after that venture into scaling crit by going vengeful + precise commander on your medium clusters and vicious bite on large cluster. you cannot just get them from the get go without the above, at least i dont think they would be good at that point. SD or redemption sentries are your best bet if u are not going cluster jewels.

Secondly positioning is very important for SO, you need to keep them away from the boss in order for them to trigger their shotgun spell if not they are ZDPS.

I have been playing spectre summoner for this entire league and i can tell you SO makes all content super easy but you need to go at 1 least large cluster before your SO can really do something. Personally my spectre progression from heist league Day 1 until now was Slave Drivers > Redemption Sentries > SO.

invest into cluster, +1 wands are cheap

Very solid build overall, made a few small changes to boost my defences. Loving it so far.
I feel like cluster jewels are not needed at all. Playing with SO's and my dmg is more than good. Did last phase of sirus A7 in a few seconds and all other bosses die super fast (you do need to postition them a bit away from the boss, that's all you have to do..make sure they are not melee attacking). Even did 100% delirium T15 maps without any problem. The reason I don't like cluster jewels is because you lose quite some HP. They do add a big amount of damage, but for my character it is not needed at all so I'd rather have some more HP.
Bosses die fast, I can do all content and my defences feel kinda good aswell (this was also before I bought awakened gems and a couple high cost items).
So thanks for the build, wanted to play a summoner this league and this build was exactly what I needed :)

New player here and I am trying to follow the crafting stuff but am completely lost. Could you perhaps do a video tutorial on say crafting the wand?

I am trying to build my character on a proposal from Kayle: Specter and Spider. But I have a problem. How to use two auras: Hatred I Haste and I don't have a mana to cast another spell-like flame dash or Armageddon Brand. But I saw Keyle throw these skills at yt .
