Kay's Summoner Memorial Page | New Guide is linked inside!

My Kingmaker AG died to a Metamorph :( Wish I had known what actually killed it. It went down so fast.
Tried the Artless Assassin, I'm enjoying them a lot. They are basically RS but with more health and base attack speed.

The only downside is that since they do hybrid cold and fire damage, they don't do enough cold damage to freeze as often. But I think the trade-off is worth it.

RS don't crit and freeze as often this league anyways with all the nerfs to crit.
Hey guys,

i was just wondering why the divergent animate guardian quality 20 level 21 costs 13 ex and the divergent guardian quality 23 level 20 costs so much less. i thought people buy the divergent guardian for more increased life compared to the standard version?
quality 23 gives 46% increased maximum life, while quality 20 gives 40% increased max life. one leve of the guardian gives 4% increased max life.
As a consequence, lvl 20 quality 23% is better?? am i missing somthing?
thanks in advance
Is it worth it to play so spectres with necro aegis and victarious?

Hey all... playing time (and currency) has been a little hard to come by this league so I'm a bit behind.

Been just working on maps and I'm only just now getting to T14+ and just about to get my 20th watchstone.

I only have 3 spectres, so it's getting a bit painful (working on saving to buy +1 RS boots and +1 Int amulet so I can get the 4th).

Been mostly following the league starter and transitioning to the pure spectre build but I'm not sure whether I should stick with it or go for S&S instead.

If I only have 3-4 spectres, how does clearing maps (and conquerors) compare between pure spectres and S&S builds this league? I saw Kay's new video with the dinos(?) and it looked very smooth but my gear won't be anywhere close to that, unfortunately.

I finished last league playing the S&S build (with RS) and it was very smooth, so I definitely love the spiders play style.

I found using Anomalous Vicous Proj can proc spiders using spectres so thats been nice to keep SOs. Would love to see a guide on best set up since this is clearly a game changer with S&S. Good luck!
I'm a bit confused about levelling, I've taken a look at the base build guide at the start of this post. I've also looked at the youtube base build guide, and the levelling guide form a few weeks ago, they all seem to recommend different gems while levelling!

Some talk about skeletons, some SRS, and some lightning conversion zombies, they all seem to differ.

Thanks,
In the impale syndi version, Kay talks about vulnerability being self-cast. What's the reason for this?

Also, how do you set it to self-cast?
It's not connected to a gem that would make it self-cast and I can't find an option that would toggle a skill to be self-cast. Only option I see to change casting behaviour is "always attack without moving", but that's it

Put it on your hot bar, bud. Then hit the button to cast the curse. By "self-cast" we mean we cast it manually by hitting button. Not curse on hit or blasphemy or anything like that.

Ah thanks, I have played a lot of mmos and mobas and self-cast usually refers to casting a spell centered on the character.

Not sure why this wouldn't just be referred to as "cast". Guess the PoE community is special in this way. :P

can you go low life with summoner so you won't die that much?it is worth it tho since you lose 1 spectre by replacing your armor with shavronne and how can we get better single damage with syndicate operatives for end game bosses

No, going lowlife shavronne's, you go Midnight Bargain to keep up the 5 spectres: I've been playing on and off this setup since Legacy (2.6)
