About Crabbies, man, I love them so much, cute, tanky, stronk movement (that slam!), a lot of AoE skill (no need melee splash), the baddass fountain skill...it sometimes make me hard to see, but I get used to it by setting custom resolution to approximately 21:9 ratio (make the game display like on ultra wide screen)

with better gear you don't notice the change to volley, at least i don't notice the clear. but i notice the single target because the spread is much easier to shotgun than the spread from gmp.

theres the image with the spread. almost a 180 with gmp whereas lmp/volley is a like a 60 degree cone
I suspect what's happening is that the firing angle is being additive to what's on the spectre's ability itself.
GMP at close range as you've pointed out is almost 180 degrees. We'll say 80, 40, 0, -40, -80 for example. GVolley on the other hand shoots them all out at 0 angle, but with an offset to the left and right.
But the daggers also have their own angle modification: 0, -10, or -20. While this doesn't necessarily help much with the GMP, as the 80 is now at best a 60 (or on the flip side, the -80 becomes a -100).
However, with GVolley, it can easily make multiple daggers arc towards each other and overlap because they all have the same initial angle before the ability modifiers.
If this is indeed the case (I haven't tried em at all so this is all theory at this point), then I could easily see GVolley being better than AGMP. Even a single extra dagger hitting on single target would make it better.
When using GVolley, do they all fire perfectly parallel or are some of them angled differently? (since GVolley can override some firing angles such as Sire of Shards)
Hm need to test this... but LMP clearing is perfectly fine, so just use LMP for more dps?

They ignore most projectile modifiers if I remember correctly. Greater volley and GMP fire the exact same afaik
Now in terms of volley Vs LMP it doesn't matter but volley seems to have a weird interaction where spectres just stand still and do nothing. They don't with LMP for whatever reason

I'm currently using a helmet as well with SO, and have Raise Spec - Greater Volley, Spell Echo, and either Minion Damage or Predator for bosses who move all over the place. Some will argue that Vicious Projectiles is better, but sometimes you just need Predator to keep specters on target.
