They don't do any phys damage, only elemental.
SDs use lightning Flame Surge spell. You can find other monsters that use Flame Surge.

Alright so I posted my thoughts on the Syndicate Operatives yesterday, and I had said the single target damage was very low. I need to retract that statement now, after finding out that their projectiles shotgun...

Bossing now with GMP feels incredibly smooth. Still need to keep them at a distance though to make sure they shoot their projectiles instead of using their melee attack, but their single target is no joke now.

I've been giving them a spin, so far so good on my end as well. Still trying to work out the best gem setup for them. They use a duel attack, lighting and a physical. I kept wrath so the physical attack freezes enemies. The have a hell of a clear range.

Gems I am trying out now: Spec - Minion Damage - Spell Echo - Predator - Damage on Full Life (They have shield) - GMP

Swap Vicious Projectiles for bosses.

What "shotgun" means exactly?
