I've somewhat retired the DPS build because earlier in Synthesis league, people posted on the build guide that they had a lot of trouble with survivability.

The gear is actually the same as the (new) default build (formerly 'defensive build'). If you import the PoB, you can see the gem links. I can dig up the old gem links info if you want.

First off, I want to thank you so much for being as helpful as you are with everything. :) I am brand new to this game starting this last season and this is my very first build and build guide i have used. I have been following it very closely and its awesome to see how attentive you are to everyones questions and that u keep up with and upgrade your build.

Also your welcome for pointing out the deleted note about the IC and CWDT. Im glad i could be of some help :)

What exactly would stop u from gettin IC to lvl 3? it seems like it would be more helpful and CWDT would still work on it seeing that lvl 3 IC brings it right to "requires lvl 38" - or lower needed from the lvl 1 CWDT gem.
I'm currently loving this build so far.. I love necromancers and have played many different variants. This one feels like it plays like a Soulwrest summoner, which I do enjoy, a lot. The build feels like it has more oomph when it starts to go, but currently i'm not even level 80, where as my other necromancers, some which i've deleted were doing T16s. I've yet to kill uber elder in any league, but feel like this would be a build to do it...

My only issue is the build is gated around expensive/obnoxious fossil crafts+several exalts for pieces that might lack in some degree.. It makes playing summoners feel discouraging. I don't have that kind of currency, especially starting a league fresh. :(
Thanks for this guide! I made a necromancer when I first got into PoE and had no idea what I was doing. Two characters later, this build is the spiritual successor (pun unintended) to that initial exile. It's pretty fun watching your Solar Guards fire off four hyper beams at a single enemy skeleton.

Any tips for transitioning into maps?
How well do you think this build will perform in as SSF environment, and HC too?
Recommended t16 map for this build?
Just did uber-lab with this build - absolutely plowed through the boss. Traps not too bad if running with 2 or 3 health potions.

Hi i have some few questions:

1. How you calculate your 5mln+ shaper DPS? I chech your POB and its say 1mln per one Spectre x4=4mln shaper DPS. So where is another one mln?

2.Zealotry is rly better options than haste+vaal haste?

^^^^can you explane me this? I know my spectres doesn't have frenzy charges but i use 2x curse and have only 745.000 x 4(spectre) = 2.980.000 Shaper DPS. Can i do some wrong on this POB?

4.Why Faster Projectiles? Slower P, gives much more DPS.

#Edit have 1mln now (I change my Grace for Haste)

You need a minion damage wand with added lightning/cold damage and the trigger craft. Blade Vortex has 5 second duration and the trigger has a 4 second cooldown. I would like to try this setup. I am guessing that loosing the skeletons is no big deal, but what do I do about 'desecrate'? Is it best just to put in on a swapped weapon?
@JustMane Well, your DPS per spectre suffers from a few things, first you have the wand, with the suggested wand in the build the damage per spectre goes to 1.2m, and you also lack almost all of the jewel slots, which amount to A LOT of the build's damage, so I'm afraid you are hitting a ceiling unless you change some things around. With frenzy charges and the wand the damage goes to 1.5m.

Im playing on Energy Shield with 7 auras and 3 mod on AG (10.500es) so i can't play with shield (Frenzy) and wand (increased minion damage). My DMG now is 1.000.000 per spectre so im rly happy.
I dont know how he calculate this 5mln shaper DPS and why he use Faster proj than Slower proj...
