Interesting build idea.

I've actually tried with a Marauder as well, but I followed the levelling guide and pathed all the way out to phase acro for even more survivability. Since we don't switch to Spectres until Act 4, I could wait until Siosa to buy most of the relevant gems. And with Wraithlord, spectre survivability was fine even without Necromancer ascendancy!

I think this build can actually work as a generic summoner build for any class, really.

With regards to spectres, after @Magritte shared his (her?) frost sentinel build, I thought I'd try them from Act 8 and into maps - so skipping Solar Guards. I think they feel a lot better than SGs because they don't have a casting delay (SG's beam delays their fireball) and the chill/freeze stop monsters from doing anything.

So I'm actually thinking a 2+2 split for mapping is viable: two FSs to freeze/chill everything from range, two FEs for boss killing and killing anything that comes close to your character. The gems don't even need to change with the exception being Pierce instead of Faster Proj.

One thing I like about Juggernuat, is the unstoppable node, you can just smash into everyrthing without getting stunned and slowed. Lab is a breeze as a result


I made another tree for a possible Raider summoner for Flashback as well, but I didn't end up using it
Lots of juicey nodes for big healing flasks, so can also be done as a Pathfinder.
3.5k life healed per bubbling divine life flask and you get 5 uses!
A Pathfinder would be zooming around with full flask uptime, but the raider has super high evasion and dodge. Bascially an acro verison of a gladiator, but would likely need Mind over matter for defence against dots and hard hitting physical spells

I practised leveling it a few times, and it was easiest using freezing pulse and holy flame totem, speccing into the early projectile nodes, and then into storm burst poison with herald of agony, or blade vortex, since these do not need damage nodes on the tree to do decent damage, as you will be going for a while with just life and pathing nodes

I tried Frost Sentinels briefly, but the flashing of their ice spears is a bit annoying to the eyes and clutters up the screen :/

100% uptime on BV, so basically everything you run past will be hit with Elemental Equilibrium. It could even be combined with shaper rings (+15 life for every enemy hit).

Pushed this build to 85 on flashback this past weekend and I gotta say it's a great guide and a great build. Thank you for your effort and passion for this build.

My only question is - Is there a reason we don't run maim/blind minion abyss jewels?
Hello. Whan about Hall of Grandmasters? I cant do this map solo.
nobody can really do that map....and nobody really ever wants to. lol
In the advanced builds section EX: *DPS 1.8 Million* i see that there is a change in passives obviously....but as you change ur passives....wouldnt that mean u change up gear and gems/links.....so on? i dont see a section of gear changes for the advanced builds. Help me understand where i can find this or if there are any changes...?

I also remember seeing that Cast when damage taken support and immortal call..u originally recommended keeping at lvl 1. I no longer see this note. Should we still be doing that or disregard it now and max lvl the gems?

Firstly, look at 'Menu' -> 'Options' -> 'Input'

Secondly, look for 'Enable corpse targeting'

It should be 'a' key.

So just hold 'a' and move your mouse over the corpses to target them.

Thank you for trying the build.

Maim and blind are good and I recommend them if you can get them as a 3rd mod. First priority is always life, then I recommend damage. Dead monsters don't hit back.
