Well, buff to summoner is kinda my goal! :-) I used it last league to push 600 delve and i think its usefull there pretty much for any build, so i guess i'll just buy one to see...
I want to open a discussion on 2 points with the animated guardian:

1.- How are you guys feeling about the victario's flight boots? I have this feeling that I'm always out of range when speed matters, opinions?

2.- As I understand AG has 40% elemental resistance + 20% from Commander of darkness, so we would need at most 15% fire resistance (taking into account the resistances from Southbound and Gruthkul's pelt), which I belive we should get from either the Sacrifice passive node, from 2 abyss jewels with minion elemental resistances; or if you agree with me that victario's flight might not cut it, with Rare boots with lots of life and fire resistance. Anyhow, that opens up a slot in the helmet, which I belive should be filled with either Empower (For maximum AG survivability) or Stone Golem (for the passive life regen + another combustion source).

I think you are right. When we are running around a map, we will often find ourselves out of range for Victario's 10% boost. So, it's close to useless.

The AG has natural 40% ele res and 20% chaos res. Southbound alone will res cap cold. So we still need at least 35% fire & lightning res on the boots (assuming the AG will be out of aura range and won't get 20% from commander). Rare boots with 35% fire & lightning are easy to find. I bought these for 1c:



So that opens up the 4th slot for Empower (stronger AG), Stone Golem (life regen) or even Raise Zombie (more meatshield).


Actually, I think AG + Kingmaker is such a big QoL improvement, it might be worth putting in as part of the basic build. Or keep the basic build as a cheap league starter. What does every else think?

I guess I got lucky, because I ran into cannibal fire eaters on a T1 Alleyways map... I was just using "desecrate" to raise my solar guards to a higher level, and then I saw a random cannibal fire-eater on the ground. It has a torch and definitely says cannibal fire-eater when you hover over it.....Guess I just got lucky lol
Ok, question for all the masters. Just spent all my resources to get this little gem on PS4:


Sooooo first question is will that increased crit apply to my specters if I am in range?

Second is there a better third aura than avian? I could run anger or even a defensive aura.


I will definitely be trying out the frost sentinel variation.


Also any PS4 players using this build that have unlocked the wand trigger craft?

Wow thats really cool, I didnt know Zealotry Aul had that buff. Yeah it should apply to any hits against nearby enemies, including your spectres. Now I want one, god dammit xD.
As for auras, I run Zealotry - Haste - Hatred (no avian). You need to spec the mana reservation nodes for those 3 though.
Also, if you're fire based, be careful with using Anger, as it can screw up your Elemental equilibrium if you don't use Generosity. And keep in mind fire-eaters have 0% base crit chance, so they don't really crit

I'm glad to hear that you agree, I have made some further tests with the AG, and I belive that I have a proposal for BIS Boots, I spent a total of 10c making them, and I believe that similar results should not be hard.
I bought a pair of two-toned boots (Fire-Lightning) with "Regenerate 2% of Life and Mana per Second if you were hit Recently" Enchantment for 1c, and then used Pristine Fossils to get 1% life regen and one resistance with an open Suffix, to finish them with crafting the other resistance.

I belive these are the best, because based on my testings AG doesn't really benefit from + Maximum Life: a lvl 23 AG has a base life of 10849 (13108 at 25 with empower) O.o so a few hundred don't really make a difference, while 3% life regenerated per second translates into around 2000 life regenerated per second; which I belive improves tankyness a lot more than 400ish life (from a T1 Life boots).

That would be all regarding AG optimization from me. I appreciate your guide a lot by the way, it's really inspiring, deep and well presented.

Also, as a noobish player, I belive that AG should be advanced guide material, it's fantastic, but getting the correct helmet for it can be really hard, and without it you risk it dying randomly, which would really really suck for basic guide level players (as I considered myself two or three weeks ago).

I like what you've done with the AG and crafting boots for it, especially with another 3% regen. The AG should be fairly tanky with up to 17% regen (5% from gruthkul's, 6% from conc ground, 3% from boots, 2$ from invoker and 1% from righteous army).

Your perspective on where the AG info belongs is appreciated; I'll leave it in the advanced section so new players don't get frustrated if they lose their AG.

That amulet will benefit Magritte's frost sentinel crit version more than the original build for two reasons: 1. Fire-Eaters have 0% base crit, so 'increased crit chance' has no effect. 2. With Zealotry taking 0% mana, you can fit in Hatred for 18% more cold damage.

Anger provides a very small increase because it only provides flat fire damage, and Fire-Eaters have a 0.25% damage modifier to flat damage, ie. the 99-140dmg -> 25-35dmg.

Avian aura gives an average 10% more damage.

Spider aura gives a stacking 5% more damage every second up to 15%.

Other options are vitality or maybe (vaal) grace.
