What's your opinion on running this set-up for HC? Seems like the DEF should be suitable enough to be generally safe other than a lucky big crit or poor play. Any changes I need to consider? Also any other amulet recommendations? Thanks again! Amazing build overall!
I'm doing this build and now i'm lvl 66.
I have a problem with the mana, always run out of mana when spamming reave.

With enough Physical damage leeched as mana you should be fine with the single node he takes underneath duelist area. Keep in mind arctic armor got replaced with herald of purity with the blasphemy setup. Opens a small amount of mana and might help. Just make sure to use flasks efficiently without Arctic Armour.

I think it can work on HC, but I'm not very experienced on HC, if you play HC this build, pls make a feedback what you change on the build to be a better for HC players. We dont have any other good Unique option for Amulet so i recommend to use a Rare one, look for flat Physical Damage, % Increased Evasion Rating and ofcourse some def stuff (life/resist etc.). Remember when you dont use Impresence, you cant go all aura, best way its using Vulnerability aura on clearing/regular play and go for Herald on Bosses, or try to find some other way to apply Curse (Curse on hit, CWDT setup).

@tegarp90 Your Character are Private so i cant see your talents but i think @revlogan123 are right and you dont pick mana leech node i never have mana problem.

What you think about Dual Strike instead of Double Stike? Sure, Dual Strike don't have extra damage to bleeding target, but it uses both weapons, and according to wiki bleed damage stacks from both weapons if you useing DW cleave or dual strike.

Dual Wielding while using Cleave or Dual Strike: If both hands cause bleeding, then the bleeding damage from both hands is combined. If only one hand causes bleeding, then only that hand's bleeding damage will occur.


Also, unique jewel for Dual Stike give aoe, so we can use Ruthless for map clear and Double Damage from main hand for even more bleed damage.

Since POB can't calculate bleed damage properly i can't test it there.
Hmm looks like a good alternative for Reave/Double Strike, if you dont like swaping :) I will test it on some endgame (now im stuck in real life so my progress in this season go really slow) but i think it will be a middle option, better on mapping then Double, worse from Reave and better for single from Reave a bit worse from Double (when no melee splash on). Hmm, work perfect for now, will see on harder content! :)
i did quick math to figure out what's better.

Double strike deal 113-169 damage to bleeding target, so if i understand it right, if off-hand have more damage than this, Dual Strike should deal more damage or i'm missing something?

my math: 113-169 = ~141 damage on average. my offhand Dreamfeather have 107-178 damage. with 104% damage from Dual Strike it's 148,2 damage on average. so, it slightly better, than flat damage from Double strike. + more damage from main hand ( 93.9% damage from double strike against 104% from dual stike )

also Dual Strike can be level 21 with 20 quality, Double Stike's max is 20/20 if you corrupt normal version into vaal.

i don't include Vaal Bois, they are great nuke, but not so great in longer fights.

Overall looks like Dual Strike could be better?


i'd like if you correct me, i wonder how it works exactly.


UPD: Bleed damage calculation.

Assuming we have identical weapon in both hands and level20 skill gems. i took my offhand with 107-178 damage. avg: 142,5.

Double Stike: 93.9% - 133,8 avg damage.
Double Strike extra damage: 113-169 - 141 avg damage.

Dual Strike: 104% - 148,2 avg damage.

Total Double Strike damage per use: (133,8 + 141) * 2 = 549,6
Total Dual Strike damage per use: 148,2 * 2 = 296,4

Double strike Bleed damage per instance: (133,8 + 141) * 35% = 274,8 * 35% = 96,18

Dual Strike bleed damage per instance: 296,4 * 35% = 103,74

Double Strike total bleed damage: 96,18 * 8 = 774,4

Dual Strike total bleed damage: 103,74 * 8 = 829,92

Although Double strike deal about 7.17% less bleed damage, it can apply all 8 stacks faster, what make higher uptime of all 8 stacks on boss. Which allow player move more often whithout losing dps.

Nice calc. When i have some more time i will edit guide and add Dual Strike option :)
I edit my build on Delve, now it's a Tank, not an Evasion Build. You need more Currency but you get more DPS, and you can tank all content ;)



So i have 84% Cold resist, migrate 50% fire and 29% of Physical damage taken to Cold, 45% Block (+20% from Rumi), if i have some more time and good day i will update the guide here, make new section for this gear/gems i use now, it's more expensive then Evasion one ;)
This tanky build looks delicious !

It's nice that you can tank all content but can you dps it too ?
