[3.11] Brittleknee’s SRS Necromancer - Reliable, Beginner-Friendly. All content. Harvest Ready!
" If you wish to take this one, by all means. I didn't take it because I needed the reserve/life/res more than that. The beauty of the build is that there's certainly enough wiggle room to prioritize the things you'd like to! " With the changes to the base minion accuracy, the build is more SSF friendly than ever. You're no longer dependent on Lycosidae or Command of the Pit to reach needed levels of minion hit. There are some other uniques the build uses, but they have some equivalence. A temple rare with minion damage is a good alternative to the Scourge. You can enchant minion damage on a nice set of gloves if you can't get the Grip of the Council gloves from the prophecy. A nicer body armor with Life and Res can work with a mana flask if you can't find a Covenant (but its a fairly common drop). I was tossing the idea around later in the league of doing a SSF run of SRS. Anything you find out along the way, do share! " I skip the minion nodes at the top of the witch area because of the build being a pure SRS build and non-reliant on other minions. Zombies are just training wheels for the leveling process. As for skipping some of the other areas of pure minion damage, there is so much added damage sourced from the Ghastly Eye jewels (Each jewel is essentially a 20% minion damage 'node' plus flat phys is then converted to fire and added as cold) that I went around the Attack Speed side of the main minion wheel. Attack speed is super important for prioritizing SRS damage which is why we go with the Flesh Offering Enchant over the SRS ones. I ended up dropping some of the other "tough" minion nodes in this later iteration simply due to casting being far more convenient when casting from life versus having to ration and cast against a mana flask which in some cases is a finite resource outside of recharging your Vaal Clarity. Empower 4 I still feel is important over Ruthless. Mind over matter is just awful with a mostly reserved mana pool. However with the Aul necklaces removing the reserve cost of Hatred and possibly prioritizing a full reserve reduction tree and some mana nodes/mana on gear, its possibly viable. It seems like a lot to trade for ~800-1000 EHP but some people really prefer that playstyle. Its just not for me. Hopefully that clears a few things up for you! I can definitely say that Aul's plus MoM has been a big help for me, but only because my build lucked into rings with a total of -25 to mana cost of skills, so my mana pool of about 2k+ is never under the slightest pressure, except in no-regen maps, and even then it's fine.
The amount of life you get per 5% node was surprisingly disappointing, being only about +110-120 with my current built, even though I have quite a lot of life from gear & Jewels. Adding MoM was simply a better deal in terms of "HP" for the same amount of tree nodes. Aul's is hella expensive though, so there's that. ----------- In any case, I wanted to ask: With the recent nerf, is Enfeeble still the debuff of choice for the CWDT setup, or would you recommend another gem to complement Immortal Call now? |

" It's pretty much summoner's choice at this point, but elemental weakness is, I think, the most reasonable option. You can add dread banner if reservation allows for a mini-enfeeble. If you're playing in a group that's at curse limit, you can add in an AoE lightning spell for further automated EE debuffing. Shock nova was a favorite of mine. Arc worked well, too. Note: Tempest Shield will not work with Necromantic Aegis. Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee

" Good ideas. I'll give elemental weakness a go first. I like that it scales well with bosses. |

what pantheons do u use in 3.6?

This is actually my favorite skill despite it being unpopular haha. That being said anyone got advice on how to tackle this from a HC perspective? Or is the guide good enough to tackle down the HC route right off the bat? Appreciate the help.

" The same as before. Brine King and Ryslatha. Solaris acceptable with high end HP pool (7K+). Yugul acceptable if you have good flask management and would prefer to mitigate more cold damage in delves/u-elder. " This guide is not HC friendly, but if you like SRS and don't mind playing something other than Necromancer, please consult this guide done by a good friend and moderator of my channel. He reached Lv. 100 in SSFHC: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2332117 A long time ago I made a HC Champion SRS, but with the changes to the passive tree to include minion accuracy, it seemed like a dead project and I dropped it. :( Check me out on Twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/brittleknee All of my builds are here: https://tinyurl.com/y5vwayk2 Last edited by brittleknee#2158 on Mar 13, 2019, 9:18:50 PM

" Cant see too much since on mobile phone, but what stands out the most is that u want the most life u can get on all yellow pieces(and replace goldrim and ur ammulet with rares) U can easily find t1 or t2 life rolls in any slot with aome resists to cap for 1alch to 2 chaos. (If u need help ob good poe.trade filter setup u can pm me ingame or ask here, dunno how new u are but from what i see u already got quite a bit down of how to poe) Then with time u get gem lvl/quality wich is allways big boost for summoner and 5/6 link and better jewels. This should help u to finish rare maps with like 10 chaos investment or more if u got it. edit: ok checked now on pc, some little things i would add is that u have empty skill slots, get a stone golem for extra regen (or 1 for accuracy if u dont like stone golem) and u are missing vaal haste, with the reduced aura notes u got and the use of blood magic from body armour u can comfortably equip regular haste as well (i choose it without generosity for the 20% resist from ascendency and faster movement/attack speed for me as well) but ur choice if u want to use it on generosity for extra dmg boost. get a cheap blood of the karui as 2nd life flask and u dont need the mana flask anymore (except for no regen maps) so u can add another defensive option there. I even find it funny how i was afraid the clearspeed would be bad, with so much movement/attack speed and srs doing their thing it feels great for mapping and bosses are a strenght of srs anyway. Thx bk for the guide and hope we see some interesting updates if u find any. Last edited by Schnubbel_#6961 on Mar 14, 2019, 11:05:28 AM

Thank you for the assist, Schnubbel!
Kylick, right now is the best time to invest in rares while everyone is still trying to make money at the start of the league and a majority of people are playing. If money is scarce make sure you're doing your Chaos recipe for the time being for some faster cash if you're not sure how else to make currency. I'll try and take a more in-depth look at your pastebin tonight if I have time, but the advice Schnubbel has provided is a great starting place. I didn't even think about using stone golem as a crutch until you are sufficiently leveled to take all the life regen nodes on the tree. I was too quick to toss aside our loyal rocky boi.
