i would work towards better amulet. Your gems have all chaos damage, weird :)

been using the build on my 90 sabo, feels like a giant noob trap, its super slow, no mana regen or leech. cant even touch guardians cause im just so ungodly slow and cant even keep throwing traps cause im at 0 mana, find a different build if youre looking at this one

I guess you just did it all wrong

First of all, thanks for your guide, been playing exclusively this build for betrayal. I just wanted to ask your opinion on what I could do better. Finished off Red Elder yesterday (my first time, this is just my second high-level Character, the first one was unable to do that), with only 2 Portals left, but I guess I have to blame myself for that, "git gud" :-D
What really bugs me is the fact that I keep reading comments like "laughs in arc trap/mines/totems". Yeah, you do a lot of damage I suppose. But no, you cannot easily take on every possible map mod.
-More than 2 added damage mods - you f*cking die
-TC are a big pain in the butt, you can't dodge anything with FD
-increased monster speed? Yeah nice, looking at you, little slithery snake things
-vulnerability adds to the shimmy degen so badly sometimes
But hey, reflect isn't a problem :-D
Guardians were a bit tricky, especially Chimera. Damn does that thing hurt me. But I managed to kill them all without losing the maps.

Already changed my setup to 1 shimmy and a shield for added survivability, but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm a noob, yes, but maybe you got some advice regarding jewels/items/skills etc. that I'm unable to see. Don't mind the arcane surge, I know it doesn't proc with EB, going to change that.

Out of currency atm, so before I try my first ever shaper set I would like to tweak my setup and running maps/safehouses/temples atm. (No, I don't delve, I hate it, can't explain...)

Why don't you use Choir of the storm?

+(20-30) to Intelligence
(10-20)% increased maximum Mana
Critical Strike Chance is increased by Lightning Resistance
(Isn't that pretty strong? When you have lightning resistance very high?)
50% increased Lightning Damage
Trigger Level 20 Lightning Bolt when you deal a Critical Strike
